Blake was just out of HS (17) when he drove to Nashville from Ada OK. He worked in Nashville for seven years-sweeping floors, roofing, painting..) before he had his first hit-Austin. Nothing was going to stop him. I don’t think we need to question Blake’s integrity.

You go dude, Its all about real love on the inside. These ones that get things handed to them $$ is everything in their work. They have no clue on busting their ass off. So this made me smile. My hubby worked 2 jobs to provide sometimes 3. I felt like a single parent but was worth it. Then it got to 1 good job. But still rough I worked when I needed to help. We were married 42 yrs together 47. He passed. 2 yrs ago March unexpectedly. He was my care taker I have MS he was disabled to with knee replacement s. He sure loves his grandkids & great grandkids. This another great song of Blake's, anyone who is trying to make it political or otherwise are not taking the time to really listen to the words. It's about how loving this special woman makes him feel. Some are lucky to have this kind of love, while the rest are searching for it. Blake has come a long way and I have listened to him since way back, the one thing I am very proud of is he has not forgotten his roots and he has given Oklahoma someone to be very proud of.
