I have no idea how many times I have watched this delightful gift from HM Queen Elizabeth II and Paddington Bear, but almost two years on, I am still here. I'm American but can remember knowing who she was even as a tiny kid. It sorta felt like she was a friends much loved mamaw or something who has always been around in the background. (Which is why it was baffling to hear Meghan pretend Americans don't know much about the royal family and saying we don't have tabloids. Even in Kentucky we knew all about the royal family and had tabloids featuring them in our grocery stores lol. No chance a fairly rich kid in LA was ignorant of any of that 😄)

It was so lovely to see the late Queen’s almost childlike joy in this, you can see it in her eyes. I was there, right at the top of the Mall, as far forward as an ordinary member of the public could go. It was a perfect summery evening, warm with a light breeze and the huge crowds happily watching the events across by the statue, while also watching the details on the huge screen at the top of the Mall. When the conversation between the Queen and Paddington Bear flashed up on the screens, there was a huge gasp, right down the Mall, as we never expected anything like that! Total silence throughout the whole sketch, until Paddington's final comment "Thank You Ma'am, for everything" which brought a collective "Aah" from everyone in the Mall. One of the days I will always treasure. An evening in central London, with some of the most famous people in entertainment, and huge crowds of people gathered to honour an amazing lady. Sadly we were all there again just a few months later, I watched her funeral on a giant screen in Hyde Park. Again the city fell silent, I can remember the first time I heard that silence, which was for the funeral of Princess Diana, which I also watched from Hyde Park, having seen the funeral procession roll past from Kensington Palace, right in front of us.

This was a wonderful sketch done by The late Queen and the Paddington Bear team. Follow it up by a great rendition of we Will Rock You in front of the Victoria monument. I'm an American who's only had one opportunity to visit London. I absolutely loved Westminster and Buckingham Palace. Yes I did get to tour it. We don't have royalty here for good reason but I respect the institution in Britain. Primarily because the queen was such an honorable person. She had a long life and a very happy marriage. Shame her children had problems but she was well loved by her family and her people. When Paddington thanks her for everything I think we all get a little lump in our throats. I'm glad she got to live long enough to enjoy her Jubilee. May she rest in peace. I only wish I'd been there for this awesome concert and party

Who'd have thought Her Majesty would have loaned herself to a film and given us a treat like this? How totally adorable! We can see here that she was anything BUT reserved and uppity! Thank-you, Your Majesty for all that you've done, indeed, and for being the bond that held the world together for so, so long.

This was quite brilliant. Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Paddington, Queen and Adam Lambert - but don't forget the fantastic Royal Marines! Whoever conceived of this was a genius. And I agree with Boris' tribute in Parliament, the Queen smashed it! Thanks be to God for a wonderful person, and a fantastic monarch. So good that she lived to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee.

The Queen was so kind and easy going contrary to what many people think! She had a beautiful soul and the spirit of service, the authority of a queen but she was funny and humble too! A proud daughter of the Almighty King 👑 She was also a working mother and she accepted her destiny and did her role the best she could, from the first to her last day. Rest in peace Queen🕊️
