In today's video we review the Air Jordan 4 UNC or Jordan 4 University Blue which is set to debut next month, April 28th. The Jordan 4 UNC comes dressed in a total university blue suede upper with accents of black and grey. The most "controversial" part of the sneaker to me is the added tag on the tongue and I cut it off in this video!

I grew up in the 80’s and the Jordan 4 is the sneaker that got me into the game. Not sure what the hell happened but a year ago 4’s like black cats/cool grey’s were sitting. Now everyone wants the damn 4.

Because of the off white 4 that was released in 2020 the hype of that shoe went across all social media platforms and caught the eyes of all sorts of hypebeasts and when a lot of people realized they couldn’t pay resell they found other color ways they liked which spiked the resell value of those pairs. personally the Jordan 4 was always one of my favorite silhouettes so it kinda sucks to see the resell value go up on them but I also like how much love they’re getting now.

In my opinion the part of the tag he cut off actually gives the shoe more character, and gives you more options for what to wear with it. Great review though 💪🏾

I really don’t like the extra tag, it doesn’t look as bad with one cut off and one left on the other tongue but I’ll probably cut off both if it was my personal pair. It definitely changes the overall colorway of the sneaker. Thanks for sharing your opinion ✊

I’d rather get a retro of an actual jersey than have it on my shoe lol I kind of like just having it on one and not the other. Putting it on both was a little too much but I still think no tags at all is the best look. It could have been worse though haha overall I really like the sneaker a lot 🔥

Now, without that patch, you have a really nice pair of kicks, I passed on Oregon Duck 5 & the Michigan 5 GR versions for that same little red tag, I don't know why I can't stand it unless its on the insole ☝🏻

I honestly am a much much bigger fan of these without the extra tag, they could have easily done something other than this to differentiate this pair from the PEs. I mean, they already don't have school branding, not sure how much more obvious it can get. Personally, I think there's slightly too much blue and cement, they could have added more black or white, but I still think this is a fire pair of 4s for sure.

Just copped this at Urban Necessities in LV....yes it was expensive, no I don't care. Clean shoe. It was either this or the UNC 1 and even though i prefer 1s.....these ones just look better.

it makes sense for the jersey tag to be there. there is too much contrast between the white jumpman and unc colour. The jersey simply balances the colour scheme with the red on the jersey adding a! extras flare. Without the jersey tag, the white jumpman pops too much as if it's floating, making the shoes look awkward overall.
