It's funny because many including Nintendo, hinted how Rare were such masters when it came to suppressing every inch of a game into the storage available, they were more told to be far better at putting high quality music on the Cartridges than even Nintendo.

To this day I'm not sure if the developers at Rareware were being creative or just crazy. You go from being hungover to carrying a beehive/machine gun turret to retrieving cash from catfish to fighting a hybrid of the Terminator and a Hay Bale to fighting a giant opera singing pile of feces to a land of dinosaurs and cavemen to a nightclub filled with rock people whom you urinate on. What. The. Hell?

And then Microsoft ruined it. They had the perfect opportunity to fix the ending, but they blew it - and on top of that, they took out all the actually fun MP modes like Race and Heist. Also, needless censorship. It's really sad when Nintendo is more open to swearing than Xbox.
@skarpengland9 жыл бұрын
PsyrenXY Not gonna lie, i cried at the ending, it is so unexpected - the whole game is about carelessly finding cash, "Yeah, more sponduli!", fighting crap, biting the ass of a cyclop, feeding a bat-dude, and in the end for nothing...the last stage sets a really weird atmosphere as well, when everyone just dies, and u ask urself, "What the hell now?" before realising conker has nothing left...this game is ART!

I live in South America. Down here, those kinda games were very rare. I had a 'Rich' part of the family that didn't give a fuck about other relatives and my cousin had this game for his N64 (When they came out) my mom made the great effort (Bless her heart) to buy me a N64 and I did some yard work to get some money and I asked my cousin if he could sell it to me, he agreed and I got it for 5 dollars (Back then the Game in my country was around 80 dollars or so). Since my parents didn't know english, they couldn't understand the dialogue; and since I'm billingual I was laughing my ass off. This song brings too many memories man. Best purchase I ever made. I like how this starts out as very expected, standard fare N64 quality music, and then it climbs its way up into something completely mindblowing; something that sounds unlike almost anything on the entire _system_. I learned that the N64 can really output 100 channels of music if it dedicated all of its processing time on just that. You can basically go above and beyond with N64 music if you want it to, and this song is good proof of that.

Funny what your brain does when sleeping. I haven't heard this song since the original Xbox remake of this game, but last night I heard this song in my dream. That's why I'm here to confirm what I heard was true 😂

Correct me if I'm wrong but towards the beginning it sounds like the song they played in the movie 'blade' in the club scene..either way this game and song is and always will be badass.

I like these kind of songs. You could easely play them on a party and no one would notice it's from a video game except they have played it.

A remaster of this song done by a big name musician needs to be done. I'm not big name but I'm attempting the challenge. We have so many modern tools that can enhance this song to make it more epic.
