Some Libyans know nothing about economics or even their own country. The UN has a measurement for quality of life - it is called HDI or Human Developement Index. It measures income, longevity and education. Fact is that according to the UN, Libya had the highest HDI of Africa, higher than the oilrich Saudi-Arabia and higher even than Russia!
