BLANK2Y is an 9-member boy group that debuted on May 2022 with TUMBS UP from their mini album K2Y I : Confidence [Thumbs Up]. The members are DK, Louis, Donghyuk, U, Siwoo, Mikey, Youngbin, Sungjun and So Dam. Two members previously devuted under different groups before (LOUIS and DONGHYUK). One member was a contestant on I-Land (YOUNGBIN). One member participated in Produce 101 Japan season 2 and ranked 68th (MIKEY). SIWOO was a contestant on Produce X 101 and ranked 81st and was a contestant on Wild Idol. The group name is a compound word of "BLANK" and "KEY", and has the meaning of "a key to open an empty space". Our Fandome name is " K2YWE"!

Well, for their first comeback, BLANK2Y go more tropical/deep house and drop their acid house of Thumbs Up for a more trap and rap influenced sound. Overall, it works really well, those pre choruses just soar. Now, time to listen to K2Y II: Passion
