2024 Can't believe it's been 25 Years Since this Classic Song, Video, and Album. "Blaque" is an Underrated Group and Their Freshman Album is an Underrated 💎💎. They always reminded me of a Mini TLC especially with Both having Rappers in Both Groups. And it's crazy how the "Rappers" specifically in Both Groups are Both Gone!!! They're so freakin' gorgeous. Like a mini-TLC, these ladies had unique tones, solid beats and an incredible vision when it came to not just their songs but their short-lived music video catalog. Definitely one-of-a-kind, yearned for more of them when I was younger. So many good girl groups that got lost in the rubble of the crumbling industry when the early 2000s came to a close. (DEEP SIGH) Wish things turned out better for them. Was so looking forward to their unreleased album "Torch" (2004) with Missy Elliott.

This is one of the coldest songs by an rnb group of the late 90s. The video sends chills. Its so futuristic without looking cheap. Left eye makes her cameo and disappears at the end. Blaque had ALOT of potential and appeal to teeny boppers which would have made them bigger than TLC. Left Eye knew that too. She was ahead of her time.

It was the futuristic look left eye had visioned for TLC, but didn't happen until No Scrubs came about. Blaque were under LeftEye Productions which is how they ended up with the Futuristic look also. TLC's hit "Girls Talk" (first video after Lisa passed on) wasn't a coincidence that it was made in a futuristic setting 😉😉😉

I remember Blaque's first album. I bought it back in 2000 from one of those order 3, get 2 free catalogues. I was in the 5th grade. I fell in love with them instantly......Natina reminded me of Lefteye. Their 1st album was a classic....I STILL bump their shit like it was 1999/2000 in 2016 lol.
