I’m glad they got to experience this, this trip is more significant than they know. Me growing up in all white neighborhood and going to all white school at times had me question if I’m valid. So these lessons are truly important, to let them know it’s ok to be them they way they are.

Yay, I was waiting for this vlog. Welcome to Kenya. I stay in Kenya, so I can relate to the Nairobi traffic, especially now with all the construction around. Thankfully the curfew was lifted. Its so cool because I can completely relate now. I know some of the places you passed by. Like the mall, called Galleria. I used to live around there, the area is called Karen, and there's quite a couple of fun things to do around those places, its beautiful. I hope that you enjoyed your time and got to see around.

I remember my first experience in the country where my parents are from and the people are majority of black people. My first impression was wow this is beautiful the people are beautiful and the weather is beautiful. I couldn’t understand why they left such a place to live in the grey, cold, wet and sometimes snowy country I call home😄😄 I hope they experience positively whilst is Kenya. I'm so glad for Yuri and Dasomi finally getting to visit the Motherland...and mostly getting to connect with their other side of their family...It's a trip long overdue but better late than NEVER...It's about time Dasomi see a lot of darker shade of brown people who some might call black, but everyone on planet earth is a shade of brown whether you be dark, medium or light brown, that what make people so unique...even through Dasomi and Yuri came from the same parents they don't look nothing alike, and that is the reason why children that are mix need to visit and embrace who they are...love themselves unconditionally because God does not make any mistake...this trip was worth it for the kids.

얼마전에 야간통금이 풀렸답니다 밤에 조용해서 좋았는데 다시 술집마다 큰 음악 소리가 들리고 도로에 차 달리는 소리가 밤늦게까지 나더라구요 영상중에 저희 집 근처를 지나가네요 라빙톤몰 보니깐 너무 반가워요~^^

Very good experience for the girls, and at the right time too. I was born and raised in Canada and I never got to travelled to my dad's country (Congo) until recently, as a grown woman. By then, it's hard to feel connected to the country or accept some cultural differences. Children though, they don't think too much and can enjoy their experience a lot more. Then they'll keep mostly fond memories of the country. Good luck!

The bus thing or in Kenya we call it 'Matatu' did not or hasn't died, still there just a bit regulated, they have tried but realized it employs a lot of people not just drivers, but conductors, fleet managers, artists, etc

it's upset me to hear Nairobi officials getting rid of culture like the buses, that is the type of thing that gives character to cities. it happens in the West too, New York and London seem obsessed with removing culture and metropolitanize-ing(if it isn't a word, it is now lol) everything. If they don't do it, then incoming upper class do by gentrifying it
