Back then, they were riding pintails with Indy Trucks and Kryptonics wheels. Not the best for downhill, nowadays. Stability comes from the rider, not the trucks. Though, in this case some RKP trucks would be nice.

Kryptos are awesome wheels, if you can get hands to some. Pretty slippery and go down in some runs, but amazing for freeriding.
