Spectacular launch once again! It’s so exciting! I’m old and retired now, but if I was younger, I would do whatever it took to work with the SpaceX crew. I’ve watched every single launch since the very beginning and can only imagine how rewarding it would be to be a part of it all.

Hey, just wanted to bring to your attention in the launch video at approximately T +24 through T +35 they seem to be debris falling off of the capsule. I’m not sure if it is supposed to be there or if perhaps it’s a heat shield issue that might need to be looked at, just wanted to mention it so that the appropriate people can take a look. Great job on the launch. Can’t wait till the next super heavy launch go SpaceX.

I remember Vernher von Braun and Walt Disney showing America in the late 50s TV animations portraying three stage missions to the moon. This of course was way before Apollo. I still get that same thrill watching this mission. How wonderful it is to see private industry surpass all others.

Every landing still gives goosebumps. It's been 9 years since space became the first and still is the only company on the planet to not just try but succeed in landing a rocket, a structure almost 13 stories tall. We're living in incredible times Look at those cavemen go! - Made on Earth by humans!

I still dont understand how the boosback burn make the booster travel back the downrange distance of what roughly 40 miles ? It has to stop the lateral inertia westbound then travel eastbound until it vertically alligns the booster with its landing zone.

@@MichaelCarroll-gd7mm The same reason why you can casually walk around in an airplane traveling at 500 mph. You can't feel speed. You only feel acceleration.
@maxg4304

@MichaelCarroll-gd7mm I'ts not THAT difficult to move your arms under 3g acceleration. FIghter pilots sustain much more and still carry out tasks. you can kind of see their arms raise slower and drop quicker than they would under normal gravity.

yah pretty much, Aluminum fuel tanks are thin. maybe they want to make sure the pressure from inside the tank is always greater than outside? I think it depends on the rocket though.
