The amount of times that I’ve been pushed by surf and hydro pump when I’m just trying to take out an objective is disgusting

I find something people don’t realise is it is more beneficial to cancel your rapid spin when it has no value anymore since your cool-down stays the same and you might not get your rapid spin back when you really need it

Yesterday i had a soloq game where the other team had four defenders (all with cc moves) and an outrage dragonite. Our team was a typical soloq comp. It was a literal NIGHTMARE. I do not remember a single moment where i could actually play. Surf hydro pump blastoise, wood hammer horn leech trev, x scissors crustle, ice fang high horspower momoswine does that to you

9:00 100% agree that it was indeed the play, it's so annoying when teammates don't get something so basic lol, it was a free Rayquaza with no risks

I really appreciate the strategic commentary. It helps a lot to hear an explanation of where to be, at what time, for what reason.

I have been using Blastoise so far. He is my most used defender during the time when Rapid Spin was meta. He is one of the few defenders who doesn't rely on sustain which I actually really like and he evolves earlier than before. Definitely something that I love so much playing as tbh.

Blast is like Mr. Mime, he's been good thru out all the metas so far, people just don't use them for some reason

After not playing for a few years I jumped back in after seeing some of your content and choose blastoise and it does feel great! Even does for a novice except I love the hydro pump rapid spins, so dirty haha

He's been one of my gotos since release. I don't really main him anymore, but whenever I need to break a string of losses, I know I can always turn to Blastoise to help me out.

Blastoise is so good, it's nice to see a Pokémon that can use so many different builds, tank, attack speed, special attack.

That’s basically my build for blastoise as well what a funny coincidence and before the resonant guard was added I used the curse incense to reduce their healing while rapid spinning and water spout

Resonant Guard is Tier SSSS for Defenders, All-rounders, Supporters, some Speedsters and it's not bizarre at all to use it with some Attackers

Yup. My most played mon, and this is the build.

I like to play attack speed Blastoise because he gets cooldown reduction from his basic, though still slow, it can make the difference between a surf and not being able to surf.

Sorry but,,,there is a problem, i am facing from some days,,,whenever a(mewtwo y) came in match,, my phone started to glitch,,and even i can't see this pokemon ingame,,just shown in mini map....is it only happening to me?

Does anyone know whether resonant guard stacks in lane?

I'm going to do something I never do and give a hot take on "meta" picks. Here it is: Meta picks don't really matter. Okay, here's why I say this. I've tried meta builds for months and have discovered that using these builds doesn't significantly impact my gameplay. I suspect that these builds may in fact be slightly better, and at high level play, these small edges matter. But at low to mid level play, a small edge won't benefit you much. My take is this: play what works for you and don't worry about what's meta. At low to mid play, playing what's comfortable and consistent will benefit you more. And if you're good enough to play at high level, you'll probably be skilled enough to tell what the better build is. I want to end by saying that I have the greatest respect for these content creators. They're far more skilled than I am and I've learned a lot from them. I'm going to keep watching and learning and maybe I'll be half as good as this awesome cowboy. Until then, I'll keep doing what seems to work best for me.

Been curious about using that item on Blastoise so now it sounds like it would be good swap to.

Your toughest enemy was that cinderace. He didn't go to objectives, he tried to backcap when you had the lead (and failed and died), then stood in the grass near ray, didn't help you reap it and didn't help the rest of the team fight and finally, scored 68 when you could've scored 100, on a 67 goal. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I dont understand the bottom lane top lane meta. When i play talon flame it tells me to go jungle or top lane. But in vet rank(i just downloaded this game 2 months ago) i ran into a talon flame on bottom lane who completely destroyed me. So idk

Lol generally speaking you shouldn't rip ray unless 4 are dead. Its a ridiculously good come back mechanic.
