But the big issue they’d get is why are they rewarding people who might log in 3 time every few weeks.. there’s a reason why most big streamers that consistently streamed got the whitelists on 3.0 is because they would be used and not just be once in a blue moon

the best events in 4.0 have been the crime school and Survivor, events like this keep the rp fresh so why shouldn't we as viewers not want someone like Andi to have the resources to put on more events like survivor without having to break her back every time she has a cool idea.

I rememer when Forsen was playing his Jason ripoff character, a Dev kept reviving him everything time he went down and it was pretty cool. So stuff like that is nice.

One of the problems with whitelists is that it ends up being trickle-up economics most of the time. So if James Marco gets 1 mil, he's not hiring someone randomly, like Sooty the clown. He's hiring Mr. K, Chatterbox, Yuno, and other big names. And so even though it makes absolutely no sense for K or Yuno to be in a movie, that money ends up making the popular squads richer. It even happened with the teachers at My Crim Academia. You don't hire some god-tier driver nobody knows about, you hire Dundee who brings the big fun personality. Not saying whitelists shouldn't happen, just something to be aware of.

Whitelist = James Randal only ever serves 20% prison time

When I first started watching GTARP, that type of stuff is exactly what I thought whitelists were for and thought giving out that stuff was the main job of devs/admins. Always wondered why James Marco's movie, etc. wasn't getting enabled. But hearing that whitelists were largely just benches and money printers (or at least perceived that way) I can get people's initial hesitation. I WANT THE JAMES MARCO ST MARCO MOVIE. THE MAN IS AN ARTIST.

I think that's wat they were kinda leaning towards in terms of business proposals? Which would've been a good idea. Each group puts forward a business proposal. I think maybe they were waiting for solid groups to form.

I pray that Chatterbox and the clowns get to actually live at the funhouse sometime soon. I know their queen has the pull to get it done. And it would just be so cool.

I 1000% agree, put whitelist in the hands of creatives and watch the world come alive. The more potential points of connection between characters the better. now, do I criminals should have their own version of whitelist? Yes I do absolutely. Just tailor it specifically to them more and make it in a way were it doesn't give them inherently power over the entire city. Also like come on man, lets get a proper WuChang records up already? There's an entire subsect of musicians in the city who really thrive when they have a little something in the city to work for.

i dont know if this is hot take or not but people giving the reason that because of the financial crash they have zero money and are now grinding g6 is failed rp. i think they should have had characters like lang be more well off but not giga rich compared to other characters or have X start with thousands if not millions in dept or characters like dundee or chatterbox be on a wanted list with bounties on their heads. this can be a pseudo whitelist characters to kick off situations with and also have a bit of continuation with the story not just everyone going back to zero. i dont know maybe its a stupid idea

It makes sense it builds more realistic city lore. Chatterbox family has owned the fun house for generations. August fooze own a city building for his company. The mayor own a big ass ship. It would open possibilities for better rp

Server I’m on to get “whitelist” shops, weapons, etc etc are well known to community and they must apply at a council meeting. Many servers have different ways for wl and with very little scuff on the building, weapon, etc. also server I on has 3 different groups attached to that WL. 3 grps compete etc etc. and can get lost by cops etc etc. Blau just host own fivem to fit your needs ez.

I feel like there are some jobs currently in existence that bigger streamers could do to create RP. I mean i don’t want to see them grinding weed (weed sales are horrible and should not even be on the server as they are). I think people could do so much more with let’s say news reporting which doesn’t have to be grindy and creates interactions between characters. Imagine someone broadcasting a live interview with Mr K from prison where he complains about the crooked mayor and police violating his rights and organizes a protest at city hall that potentially turns violent. There a million things people could do with what is in place now. I think part of the problem is that if a big streamer only wakes up once a week or every other week it might be difficult for them to create great RP because they just miss out on so many things that happen with the people who actually spend 50 hours a week on their character. I love watching Ramasquamy but when he wakes up he is so behind on what is going because things are developing so much while squeex is offline. The bigger streamers just do jot realize the opportunities they have. That being said Blau makes many great points here. And I would love to see people like April Foose be able to have the resources to create her own arcs even if they only last for a day here and there. The arcs may not be as meaningful as opposed to what is going between say max and dundee or max and mr. k. because those relationships are so layered, but they would still be fun to see.

To me the biggest issue with whitelist is every thing gets old n ppl will always want more. Oh you want a whitelist for rp it will only last a week tops n then the work devs put into said whitelist is basically not worth it. Example if devs put work into Grandma's house making it the clowns fun house, I'd bet my life on it that it be cool rp around it for a week n then the clowns would take jt for feanted n be bored of it n barely evwr drive up there to use it. It literally happens all the time, look at Cerberus, they needed a new whitelist just about wveru week otherwise they (mainly leslie, nidas) would be bored of it n not come around anymore so whats the point.

Whitelists in 3.0 were fine. The people that complained about them missed the fact that players earned them from their effort in 2.0. Even now I think Kebun should have a custom Wu-Chang building since it was such a social hub for musicians in the past and it was never a money printer. Hell I would give Ramee a fight club for events. He literally had UFC in his twitch chat due to the VLC Fights. Kiva 100% deserves a place in the movie studio area for her Survivor events. There are clearly more others not counting all of Burns events. I feel people confuse whitelist with money printer.
