I wouldn't know that Blazblue existed without watching Kaqn. Playing like Kaqn in Calamity Trigger is what I wanted to do.

This is seriously the best vid i've seen so far...who needs all those top tier arakune spamvids where you can't see which of the 5 projectiles hits when you have a ninja attacking and dashing to attack from the other side before the first attack has traveled at all :D.

Thing is, Kaqn had prolly assumed since Dora installed and had been using some barrier that it wouldn't be a guard crushing burst when he did it. It had only recently fully recovered when Dora used it.

If the opponent is blocking, a burst will effect their guard meter. Depending on how much barrier the bursting player has and the situation they're in (being hit, guarding, normal state), they will do more damage to the guard meter depending.

but also, like i said, since theres only twelve characters they will be seperated into tiers if never settled into place but you will see them all in touraments and such. arakune V13 and Rachel may be more common than others but youll always see tager bang taokaka and everyone else played.

When Dora uses that special to go gold not many players would be able to last as long as Kaqn did. Well done to both of them.

@xBrizzyaNx Astrals require 100% heat, a barrier burst resever, the opponent being at 20% health, as well as the round being the deciding round for a victor. These conditions are generally not met when fighting someone of similar skill level and often times heat guage is used for rapid canceling or distortions. In cases like Carl, it is very hard to decide whether or not the astral is benifital or detrimental where as characters like Jin; u can easily follow up an astral after a freeze.

Dora and Kaqn 2 of the best going at it. Its frightening to imagine how good Dora Bang is now that hes godly as fuck and has better damage output in CS.

Yeah im with you for this one, the game is still brand new but i f i got to do a tier list based on the skills and potential of the characters i would say : 1/. Taokaka (lol im serious, i ve yet to see someone really push it to its full potential and i ve great hope for this one, ) 2/. Arakune (no comment...) 3/.Carl (see dio....)

i think every character can beat every other character in the hands of a good player. your right about dio's carl but ive seen other great players with other characters like doras Bang and buppa's Jin. theres so many good players it will be hard to lay down a definate tier list

I love how at 11:42 Dora gets knocked back and then it looks like Kaqn is thinking, "Aw shit, get there before the 4 seals! Don't do it!"

For Taokaka, check out Kazu. Probably the best one I've seen.

its just light medium high and drive. there will be punches kicks and slashes on any button

v13 i would think would be higher up but not top. rachel i can understand cause shes got some crazy stuff. but when you compare the skill it takes to use rachel to the skill it takes to use hakumen, hakumen seems a much more userfriendly character. he can do the same damage as other characters by using the same move 4 times. also, since the game is brand new and not even out in most places, its impossible to make a good tier list now. and i said arakune would be one of the best.

Agreed. You have to learn how to play in both personas AND how to start your pressure when it comes out depending what your opponent was doing. I'm too lazy to even try lol.

the fact that he didnt combo proved he saw it. You cant kill someone off a Burst guard crush. He let it slide so he wouldnt eat a reversal mid combo.

When I first saw this match I thought WHOA! this incredible. Then I saw Kaqn and Dora fight in CS I saw true blazblue gameplay

... Lol'd. No it's not. The general movement is roughly the same (widescreen actually makes Blazblue feel a bit slower even if it isn't), but the massive intentional slowdown whenever you land a hit makes Blazblue overall much slower.

It's the other way around. You can't kill off of burst GC but you can off of regular GC.

the thing is, try using install bang, its hard as fuck, for dora being able to use it as well as he does its almost like trying to learn a whole new character

I like that idea. But I'd also like to think that Blazblue is more balanced than GG to the point that tiers mean nothing.

it looks unfair?... you really gotta get some more information before you post things like this. you can't block when you use that super, and to get the super, you have to hit with 4 of the drive attacks. this means that the only time you will be able to pull this off will be very late game. how the hell is it tragic to watch someone who plays a character that is dead last on the tier list win multiple games? if anything it proves that this game is very well balanced.

hmm 4 drive attacks is not enough cause.. lol is something very easy to do =S and when he realeses the furikasa lol is much easy to take 50% of enemy life =p much more strong

this is the best bang player ive seen. and proves just how good bang is. However he is not the best character in the game. im pretty sure arakune or hakumen will be the best. Seing as how theres only 12 characters tho youll see them all in tournaments. wont be too tier based

Guilty gear is technically faster play, but if you're new to fighters, this game is fast enough. If you want REALLY fast, play Melty Blood.

I dont think so. He has a lot more going for him than Ragna the same combos man. He is a dull character imo. Ragna's design is not boring but after seeing what Ragna can do he is a very boring character to say the least. Every time you fight him you already know whats coming but with Bang its almost limitless possibilities of what you can do
