So an American player from Texas won BBTAG at EVO 2019, probably /the/ prestigious fighting game tournament in the world based in America, with a team comprised of RWBY characters, a fictional media franchise made in Texas, in a fighting game franchise that has been mainly dominated by Japanese players for years. I honestly wouldn't have it any other way.

As a Netherrealm and SNK player im telling you, even if you may only be ibterested on playing one or 2 characters, that is enough to get into a new game, i got into samsho bc of haomaru and into soucal bc of 2B and end it up playing someone else once i got used to the games, dont ask ppl just jump in

The bracket is double elimination. That means each player HAS to lose twice to be out of the tournament. Shinku made it to grands in Winner's side, so he hadn't lost a set yet. This means he still has to lose 2 sets to be out of the tournament. He lost set 1, which sent him to loser's bracket and they ran it back since the only player left is Kya. You should see a little [W] next to Shinku's name in the first set.

Hayse Shouhda ragna is the posterboy of BlazBlue, which is this game here. No this isn’t a RWBY game, but they wanted western representation for the western audience. They are higher in terms of tiers, mainly because of the team synergy; Y&R can Super into combos, Yang has her semblance + Armor for additional pressure on opponents, and Ruby has crazy mixups and mind games

Vivek Tarkunde there are some resonable complaints in the recent RWBY seasons, yes, but I honestly agree with you. RWBY is getting better, slowly though. It’s been quite a drag ever since Monty’s passing, but I feel like the team’s picking themselves up.
