BlazBlue Science: Hakumen's Yukikaze

I messed around with Hakumen's Yukikaze in Training Mode and came up with a dumb idea: Let's see how every move in the game reacts to it, just to see if there are any strange anomalies.
For the sake of brevity, I only showed a handful of every characters moves, since most of them had no interesting results.
Also, I forgot to record them, but Guard Crush's can be countered.

Note for Bullet: 623B is a DP, not a grab. 63214B is her new CG.

Nu's astral used to be a grab but it became a physical hit in CP i believe. Makoto's Sirius Jolt is an unblockable so you can't counter it. Relius's astral is also a physical hit.

so as i learned: Bang's astral, IS A GRAB. meaning you can't block it, only avoid.

Of course Hazama's Astral didn't get the Yukikaze punish. That shit has waaaaaay too many I frames in there. Literally unpunishable.

reason why Makotos Sirius Jolt doesnt work is because it has the special property of being "Unblockable unless blocked low", meaning no counters works against it, only blocking

One of the odd ones i can think of is kaguras D+A has heavy armor vs melee attacks, prob still lose to it because its like later 15ish frames that last for a few

Hakumen can escape yukikaze if he do a IAD j2A and hitting the yukikaze with the last few active frames. Then activate j.214A to escape yukikaze slash.

swear to god while fighting highlander in chronophantasma, i happened to clash the knock away punch with a regular jump slash, and it counted as a blocked projectile.

Yeah, for some reason every one of Takemikazuchi's attacks count as projectiles, so Hakumen can counter them with Fuumajin and Azrael can absorb them with Growler field.

I dont know why, but when Rachel uses the frog or Tao the slow rolling ball its just so harsh to counter with Yukikaze. Like really Hakumen? You could have just jumped over it XD

11:23 I might know why Sirius Jolt goes through it. Makoto's move list describes Sirius Jolt as "unlockable while standing", which might sound like a complicated way of saying "a low". Which, yeah it is a low, but it can do some wack shit, like completely ignore Izanami's ribcage. I suppose we can add "ignore Hakumen's Yukikaze" to that list. It's completely impractical but it seems like a trump card that only beats trump cards.
