They way they were jamming during this entire run was so sick and this version is a great example of it.

This jam is fuckin disturbingly good when Page is coming in at 10:30 with that evil shit! Trey hanging in that dark alleyway. Then it resolves itself with a soaring crescendo. Mike bombs and Fish pockets for fucking days!

Hello Phish People, You are witnessing history: This is my very first exposure to Phish. I've always heard about them as one of those bands with mad-fanatic followings (like the Dead), but I've never exposed myself to them. I'm 54 now, and a professional musician in LA, so I totally appreciate how good they are as musicians, with great tight vocals and good tone on the guitar (and that's a bitchin lightshow!) - so it must be strange to yous that I've never come across them from some fanatic like yourself wandering the musical starways out here... The first part of that long jam is a nice catchy song as well, and I do appreciate writers with lots of lyrics that say something... So tell me, Phish People, what would you recommend to a newbie listener; someone who will just float around KZfaq and grab a few of your suggestions to gain more of an understanding of what is so compelling about your favorite band. Let me know what would be great indications of their most popular works or where I should "start" if I want to listen to them grow from one point to another. I'm sure some of you have boundless knowledge on your favorite fanatic band, but I just want a few suggestions or links, not a history lesson. Hey, thanks for being insane lovers of music.

Trey has been doing daily videos lately that have been great in endless ways. I know mike has done so as well. My question is could they please have a camera focused on everybody individually in a live setting that you could tune into so musicians can study *movemeant*/technique*... the camera moves around so much. That would be a great lesson in itself!
