SEAL Team has a similar submersible sled for infiltration, so it makes sense.

I can’t see that thing and not think “Thunderball”. Perfect Bond-esque diver vehicle!

Tho the sled handles poorly when compared to the nimble SHARC.

Strafe maneuver! Good job on discovering it as a youngster - I only figured it out last year!

Yeah a lot of kids gave it/collectors give it a bit of a thumbs down since the main guns don't rotate. But they failed to acknowledge the TREADS are on articulating heads. Therefore each run of tread doesn't have to change speed to make a turn, that allows for rapid shifts and turns to bear the main guns on target. Only drawback is needing a good support on the flanks but the hovercar was essentially an answer to that.

You’ve thought this all through! I love creative explanations for eccentric designs. And it’s a very pleasing vehicle in hand; no matter what the critics say.

Yeah I really liked the HAVOC, I wish they would do an update to it like the Eaglehawk.

No more magic to it than what I believe is called “bush command”. It’s not the most senior man always calling the shots in GI Joe but rather the guy whose specialty makes him the man for the job. I reckon old Beach masterminded the infil and was therefore the one to make the report!

Or if your a cartoon fan, Duke’s way of dealing with the chip on Beach Head’s shoulder is to let him have a command role from time to time!

Any vehicle that compliments the Eels gets a big tick from me. I think the sled makes most sense as a stealth infiltrator like similar submersibles in "Thunderball" and the like.

If we're observing some strict internal continuity, Firefly, Scrap-Iron and the Nok's are all interred. I'd say the only one with a head full of valuable information is the Firefly. But I wonder if Joe can make him sing? I wonder if the Commander thinks he's a loose end worth tying up?
