byakuya doesnt know that ichigo is techinically the heir to the chiba family name. not surprising considering ichigo is blond and has the name of an extinct quincy clan.

@@uteriel282 Technically speaking, echt quincy are not extinct, they are from the same bloodline as Reio and Yhwach. And if Ichigo remains alive they could never be extinct.

It's funny how they changed the sword hilt in the anime from Swastika to reverse one.

Bit of an old comment to post on, but on the off chance someone else was curious, it's not even a swastika or the original symbol that the Nazi party took it from. The design is just very simple and is used across countless cultures, and in this instance, it's literally just the character for "Ban" in Bankai.
