The hell arc definitely feels like a step into that real darker side of Bleach that Ichigo can potentially experience

So Yhwach was the real hero all along man even offered Ichigo to come along with me but didn't know Ichigo was clueless to his soul society history.😭 . Ichigo is basically a over sized dog to the soul society that they use to get rid of threats and feed him bs to keep him in line.

After Yamamoto founded the seritei and academy, Shinigami could work to have a better purpose in life. But that still doesn't seem to cleanse the predecessors sins. It is no wonder he was always so stubborn because he used to be a criminal. It's just said that Ichigo's story never revolved around the dark sides of the soul society he desperately wanted to protect. The Soul society really can't catch a break. Look at the Quincy genocide, Aizen's betrayal, the 1000 year blood warfare, Mayuri's backstory for his imprisonment, dishonoring of the Shiba family,the revolutionary royals like Tokinada and Asashiro.

we definitely need a CFYOW movie after TYBW anime to have all the pieces of Bleach lore going into the Hell arc cause this exposition is necessary

Gotta love how each of the Ancestors of the 5 Great Noble families wanted to create a new world for a specific reason, but they ended up with the opposite of what they wanted. The Kuchiki family wanted order, yet the world is filled with chaos. The Shihōin family wanted a world of progress, but they are among the main factions that are obsessed with maintain the status quo. The Shiba wanted to find a more mercurial method of killing Hollows, and one of their descendants is literally part Hollow. The Tsunayashiro family wanted to eliminate what they saw as the greatest threat to their family, The Soul King, and their line was ended because of the actions of their own Leader, Tokinada. The last family wanted to ensure that Hell was kept in check, and now the Gates of Hell are being forced open. In short, the 5 Ancestors fucked up, and now the current generation has to deal with it.

The Soul King is the ultimate victim, tried to do what was right and legitimately cared about the vulnerable only to be put in a catch 22 situation that resulted in horror. All thanks to the sheer ambitions of 5. No doubt the King's mingling with 'weak' humans influenced their decision, especially since their descendants in the aristocracy espouse strongly elitists prejudices regarding humans. Yoruichi want to brainwash Hisagi at the end of CFYOW for knowing about the Spirit King and the dangerous aura she espoused shows that the sin still echoes even now. Can imagine how many lives have been ended to keep it hidden.

it's quite ironic that Ichigo who's a shiba member was the one to 'free' the Soul King (even though he doesn't know the real truth) the original shiba member was against the idea and was cast aside

The Bleach anime really needs to include the Can’t Fear Your Own World novels. They help wrap up the TYBW arc as well as flesh out more of the soul society’s past and also sheds more light on the person that killed Kaname’s friend and the horribleness of Soul Society that drove Kaname towards vengeance. Hopefully the anime also delves more into Juha Bach’s backstory, and where exactly he came from. Was he just a manifestation of the soul king’s power? From what I remember he was just discovered somewhere, a baby with no hearing, vision, or anything else.

The sheer amount of in-depth derails Kubo has invested into the 'Bleach' story he created is amazing and inspiring. I wish I could create something with so much detail and plot points

Also Tokinada's death in CFYOW's end was part of the deadly cover up however an awful nightmare of a person he was. Yoruichi made this coldly clear in her discussion with Kisuke on the matter, being dangerously edgy about it. Unsurprising given she's a noble and killer just like Kisuke was but at least he understands the sinister implications of this, possibly better than her.

Man, sometimes I think the Shinigamis were the bad ones,and sometimes I think Aizen was right all along, he just secretly want to end the Soul King's suffering, they even hid to Ichigo the first Substitute Shinigami. The most mysterious characters to me are Urahara, Yoruichi, and Ichibei, man they unto something.

The Original Sin was orchestrated by the original 5 noble houses’ leaders yeah, but also Ichibei iirc

Easily, Bleach has the most profound lore simply because of how much it's like hearing the tales in Soulsborne games. I really wish we'd get a whole spinoff, maybe even an anime original of the Rei-O up until the original sin. Such a good story. I never thought the series I've loved as a kid, who I thought was just about fancy sword skills had this deep lore.

Why is dismembering the Soul King for societal stability considered the Original Sin? Wouldn't separating the planes of existence be the actual Original Sin? The Soul King rewrote the laws of reality, the noble families just ensured. The sin is probably better described by the stagnation they created by their actions. The separation was originally made to stop the stagnation and it worked. But the thing about progress is you need change. By creating an eternal lynchpin they just tied reality up in a new unchanging existence.

Since Kouga is also canonical character in the bleach world, it would be very interesting of you to make a deep character analysis of him to know more about him honestly nicely saying.

Uryu shoots yhwach with a special metal arrow that Ryūken Ishida pulls out from uryu's mom's heart that forms when yhwach uses Auswählen to kill all half blood Quincy. The arrow cancels out all of yhwachs powers for one second and Ichigo cuts him in half and they use him as the new battery to hold the worlds together end of the 1000 year war, 10 years pass Ichigo and orihime have a kid and he absorbed the rest of yhwachs powers and Ichigo's kid is a soul reaper and send souls to hell thinking it's the soul society and throws the worlds out of order and hell breaks open and u get to see a new type of hollows and the 7th espada breaks free and he has a whole new bad ass design and all the captains that die end up as hells guardians. So we will probably see all the old captains and the og gotay 13.

In the original primordial world (Garden of Eden?), did the Soul King emerge because of the collective wishes of Creation, similar to the Hogyoku? I can't help but wonder if Free Will (Original Sin?) is also the reason for the original hollows that preyed on humanity in that original world? It's stated "the being that became known as the Soul King first emerged, "born" as if the world itself rejected the Menos". Does this imply there's a greater entity than the Soul King, a collective unconscious perhaps? Ichigo's external journey also reflects the journey within and learning about one's self? Fighting for others rather than oneself? If all of humanity learned this lesson, and chose to do so, would Hollows ever emerge again because they protect each other rather than themselves and their own desires or ego? 🤔 (Yhwach had noble goals but its meaningless if the cycle repeats itself)? It would be awesome if the Hell Arc leads to another arc about this original primordial world and its nuance!

The CFYOW needs to be adapted in the anime so the fans see the world as it's! There is no right and wrong side / evil and good in bleach !! It's all revolves around the greed of souls ( peace / dominance/ power / life ) . I find it to be unfortunate that a lot of the fans can't relate to yhwach as a character because his backstory is only revealed in the light novels ! Personally what I find most fascinating about bleach is that I can't help but be invested in the motives of the characters.

I really hope we at one point learn the name of the 5th family. It feels like a crime that we have so much fleshed out lore surrounding the creation of the world and it's connection to the Reio and the 5 ancestors to the noble families, but we don't even know one of their names. First names of the ancestors or character designs would be amazing too. Wouldn't it be interesting to see how much the dominant genes in the families have changed or stayed the same? My guess would be that even all those millennia ago their predominant characteristics were the same, showing just how much effort was put into preserving each bloodline. But come on, there is no excuse for not even having a name for the 5th family.

I always wondered whether or not the original ancestors are dead or not. Because, and hear me out here, these people are extremely powerful and as such should be able to live pretty long as a result. I would use Ichibei as an example but since he has the hoken that could be the reason for his long life span. However, if they truly are dead then that means that they should be in hell, and y'all know what means.

Is it a sin if the Soul King, with his command of the Almighty and with it omniscience and omnipotence, knew that his sacrifice was necessary to stabilize the existence of the worlds in BLEACH as we know it? Why else would he allow himself to be captured and then mutilated? I think we are looking at this from the wrong perspective. Also, the fifth noble family is not unknown. In the movie "Memories of No One," I think the fifth noble family is the one banished to the Precipice World and in doing so created the Valley of Tears. Looks like senpai finally integrating the light novels... But Bleach stay contradicting itself. They've always said that menos first begin by hollow merging into one another and then eating other menos to evolve. They showed it to us a couple times. That would mean all the Arrancar are amalgamations of dozens or even hundreds of individual hollow souls. But then you have the same franchise tell us certain Espada were sent to hell because of sins they committed in their human life.... That doesn't make sense. Those Arrancar which are evolved and unmasked Menos are the souls of MANY hollows, not just one, this how the whole be judged by the action of one?

It was obvious, in that the background of Hell and Hueco Mundo are founded on an older world. There are toppled statues of unknown origin, drawn into the backgrounds of the Hell Verse movie and Hueco Mundo. I think the unnamed clan, is the Ukitake clan. Captain Ukitake's brainchild was Ichigo's medallion, to "limit" Ichigo's power (much like the ancestor's "lid" for Hell). Also, the Fullbring leader hated him. As well, Kazui rode on Captain Ukitake's bankai as he left his room. In my headcanon--Renji, is Ukitake's son. It makes an almost perfect circle. To complete that circle, is Rukia. I don't think Byakuya told her the complete truth. I think why Byakuya's marriage to Rukia's sister was controversial with his family, wasn't because she was lower class--but that she was the Soul King's heart which split in two. Oh...I think the reason why Aizen was so fascinated with Orihime, is because she might be the Soul King's Will. He submitted to be encapsulated, against his better judgement. And he was betrayed.

The Soul King has omniscience and can see all the future. That means even though he would hate the outcome, he intentionally let himself be sealed and mutilated. I have only 2 guesses why: 1. He also wanted the world to progress and move on from stagnation that he himself was the cause, but didn't have the heart to do it himself, as all suffering afterwards would lie on him. Therefore letting himself be sealed and mutilated takes away that blame and puts it all on the Shinigami/Soul Society. While he may have laid the pieces, it wasn't him who committed the sin. 2. He wanted to die, but no one has the capability to kill him. Doesn't help the world at that time was in stagnation, and can't give birth to souls stronger than him. He let himself be sealed and mutiliated so he would be weakened, than waited for the one future where a boy with he power to sever fate will be born to kill him once and for all. Afterall, while a linchpin was need, it didn't need to be just him, just something with specific unique properties.

Where did the hollows come from, if not from dead humans? Humans couldn't die until the 3 worlds came into being, so I am just confused if there is an explanation that I am not aware of. And why would the Soul King destroy hollows, which destabilized the world, if he had the ability to see the future in its entirety? It just feels like that just doesn't work together, like there's a piece that we weren't told, something that we still haven't been told explaining and justifying the Soul King's actions.

I’d like to believe that Yhwach is still alive in some sort or at least he wants to make it seem like he’s truly dead but not because within this scene in that last chapter his reiatsu appeared in the soul society again but whats more concerning is that a piece of it appeared near Kazui. Why would 10 years later his reiatsu rise again and specifically target Kazui? Did Yhwach see 10 years witthin the future with his almighty? I can understand his reiatsu appearing again within the soul society since that’s where he fought and had numerous battles at but how is it possible for it to appear within the house of Ichigo’s let alone in Kazui room? This Is weird to me not only that but Kazui didn’t even seem scared or anything when it appeared it looked like he was just drawn to it. Who would just randomly touch something they just saw and no nothing of its whereabouts? But overall I don’t see Yhwach coming back because he’s the soul king, if he was to be defeated or killed the world would end because his power holds the world together. But if he was to somehow take the host of another body that would be possible but I don’t see how that would happen.

People always forget to take into account the agency of others when analyzing stuff and will use nonsense terms like "victim blaming" because they see the world exclusively through the moralistic context of their time and not through what it really is and will always be, interaction of individuals with agency, each of them is capable to fight and in this case the Soul King was the most capable. I don't think is an unforgivable sin, the king volunteered himself for it. the king could've stopped them and he didn't he king was also able to see the dismemberment, he saw the tybw event happening and Yhwach dying on the hands of Ichigo, Aizen and Uryu, it was so easy for him to stop it from happening, stop the founders and Ichibe. But he also saw the alternatives, and probably he just let it happen because it was the best for humanity as a whole, including hollows. when you are that powerful, then there is not doing sins to you, if anything happens is because of your will.

Ywach is the son of the soul king right? That's why he's so powerful? What about Aizen? I know he's fused w the hyogioku but even before that he was only behind Yamamoto in power.

Except, the first world was in no way similar to the garden of eden. The fact that in such a world produced powerful hollows in an alarming rate that only a godlike entity like the soul king could manage to control it roots from the concept that both the living and the dead mingling with each other. Due to that, the dead/plus can never move on of their attachments from their life as living humans as they are allowed to interact with the living humans and their lives. The way the SK kills these hollows robs them of their second life as denizen of the dead (a simple soul or whole). Without distinction between life or death, humans starts to disvalue their life and the moral boundary between good and evil blurs contributing in producing more powerful and evil hollows which in their demise contributes to the souls of hell and hell begins to overflow to the world. Yes, what the noble did is a horrifying sin, but it made a much better world than the first one. Which is why the omnicient SK allowed it to happen.
