The new cutscene featuring Ichibei and Yhwach was something VERY MUCH NEEDED. I’m glad the cut content throughout the anime went towards making the story make more sense with the added context.

Ichibei meeting with Juha was a pleasant surprise. Like it now explains why he didn't have the Almighty then and Ichibei noted he had to 'die' first to get it back.

That flashback scene was much needed and what I wanted to see. Context, lore building, character development and hidden story elements. We even got some of the original Sternritters to show off. *NOW..* If we can get that 1000 Year Flashback War that'll be amazing. I hope they extend the Zero Division fights too.

I like how The Compulsory is potrayed in the anime. I can't wait to see the fight with Mayuri or when Pernida twists Yoruichi's arm

Glad to see that Uryu and Haschwalth, aren't just going to be standing around this time.

Yo I love that they're able to add more context to these events and flesh them out more. This is giving me hope for the rushed portions for the rest of this arc.👏👏👏

The new scene also adds potential explanation of why Pernida is with Yhwach. And it's also a much better introduction scene for it. Because now anime viewers will remember this scene and will be able to connect more dots when Pernida is properly introduced, without a visual shock of seeing a walking hand with multiple irises. 17:50 It is interesting that we will have so little chapters left for both last two cours. They could actually fit it all in Cour 3, but opposite to what some people think with potential adaptation of CFYOW - I do think they will just spread if out to make the story flow better. Because, if you actually look what fights and scenes those episodes will have - it makes sense that the pacing will slow down and a lot of new scenes could be added. And some specific singular chapters could even get full episodes on their own. We are entering the parts that needed the expansion the most and I am genuinely hyped for the new material even at the cost of having some of the Cour 2 fights not being much longer and some even being shorter than the manga version. Like especially the final battle and post-ending wrapping up of the plot all easily could get a proper full episodes on their own. And they could also adapt the newest chapter with a cliffhanger for the Hellverse that could be a good advertisement for a potential further release of the series. And then you also have the extra scenes from side-stories like the Kira vs Shaz fight that would work well being included in the Cour 3. I would even dare to say that CFYOW and other novels - easily could be released as separate movies, as hype building points during potential Hellverse release later in the future, as they are pretty contained to themselves. Or they could even work like pendulum arc in the next anime release in like 10-20 years. 18:00 What I want the most at the moment from like small things that need to be included in my opinion - when Yhwach sacrifices all of the remaining Sternritters - it would be nice, if for a ad-break card they showed all letters and titles, revealing the missing Shrifts, whose names we haven't seen yet, with an obvious explanation of Yhwach's powers once again. Or the outro for that episode could be adapted showing us all Sternritters with a compilation of their lifes and fighting scenes.

I kinda wish Kukaku Shiba was here for the Canon launch since her screentime was cut last cour unfortunately.

A underappreciated thing about the flashback is that it gives yhwach a great character reveal because the entirety of tybw yhwach is only described a pure evil being but people tend to forget that yhwach holds so much on his shoulders. The flashback reminds us that his powers came from people who absorbed his powers and died, and yhwach on one spectrum knows the fear and tragedy of death (when the person that absorbs his powers dies, yhwach receives his powers back along with the person's feelings, skill, etc.) and wants to form a world that is one and has no end to life but ichibei on the other spectrum wants to continue this cycle of life and death without knowing the feeling of the fear of death. The problem with both of them is that they way they are forcing these ideals are evil especially yhwach, so who really is right and wrong.

As I said to myself many times when going into every new episode. For every scene that gets cut out completely, in exchange we get new content that was never in the manga and fixes a lot of the issues that plagued the arc itself. A necessary sacrifice, BUT IT'S WORTH IT! Now I'm even more excited for what else is coming next week and what awaits us in Parts 3 and 4

I'm convinced that Quincy girl is Haschwalth's subordinate, mainly because she's not in Yamamoto's Bankai

I really enjoyed the flashback a lot, because this literally proves Yhwach’s true motive and his reason for wanting to kill the Soul King (his own father). So hopefully this will get the people who thought that Yhwach was a underwhelming boring villain to change their point of views about him.

I know Yhwach & Zangetsu are the same, but seeing this younger Yhwach feels weird. He literally looks like old man Zangetsu. But without the glasses 🤣😂 Every episode is getting better & better, how is that possible? Im really enjoying everything 👍

How great would it be if Yhwach used Yamamoto's bankai towards Ichibei next episode? The disrespect.

The anime only opening might be one of if not best anime only scenes in the entire series so far! Gave us so much information and context (including a. Possible reason how Yamamoto could beat younger Yhawch if his power was to alter the future) (he simply could not access it at the time as it was sealed away)!

Nimaiya literally didn’t pull out his actual Zampatuko which is wild. Used an experimental one 😂

Kubo is a genious creating such a unique universe, i dont understand how this can be compared to one piece or naruto

Plus I love how the anime only opening showed that Ichibe is more then willing to keep a flawed (if not possibly failing system) if only because his absolute loyalty to the soul king, he is super detached to personal suffering (which i feel the manga didn’t really get to show much)

One thing I really liked in the episode,was the sound effect for nimaya' sword,like that thing is so sharp,that cuts the air making that weird noise. Another thing I hadn't understood in the manga,is that nimaya pierced gerard,in the manga I thought he just sliced him.

The meeting between Yhwach and Ichibei showed the clash of ideals regarding the way the worlds are. Ichibei of course came off as the embodiment of the ancestors ruthless ambition and their drive to see their way and nothing else. Yhwach showed an unusual calm whereas he would've gotten deadly quite quickly as he does in the present. This was a very critical sequence and as mentioned dipped into CFYOW as did that discussion in the end with Ichigo and company.

BLEACH IS A MASTERPIECE

A theory - Ichibe allowed Yhwach to steal the Soul Kings hand from him, in order to seal off his Almighty. This makes more sense to how the soul king hand was later convinced to serve Yhwach. In the manga I was very confused on this.

Thanks to the anime exclusive scene we can finally stop having to deal with the people saying that Yama beat Almighty Yhwach in the past, which made absolutely no sense 💀

With thw additional scenes, im definitely more exicited to see what Kubo cooks in cour 3 and 4.

This episode was great and has me hyped for all the extended upcoming material and anime original content to come!

5:03- I find this fascinating if only for the fact that it either implies that the Quincy were far ahead of their time in terms of weapon technology during the Middle Ages or the more intriguing one is that Bleach occurs in a post apocalyptic world and the primordial world is just a coverup- the governing power deliberately keeping things stagnant while they pick and choose what from the future past they pull for their own convenience.

If Yhwach wore sunglasses in the flashback he would be identical to old man Zangetsu. Nimaya wanted to be cool again so he's the first one to attack. Now we know why Yhwach didn't have almighty during the fisr blood warfare

This episode was incredible my jaw hit the floor when we got that opening scene haha. I have a feeling that might happen every new episode from here on out.

I'm gonna be honest, I'm kinda disappointed that Askin went down, because i liked Oetsu's line after slashing Askin after getting cured by Tenjiro. "After being revived, i became cooler right?"

An author who writes BLEACH novels says that there are many BLEACH settings that have not been released to the public yet. The novelist asked Kubo Taito why you keep so many interesting things hidden.😂😂

It's nice to see Yhwach fleshed out and his fear of death expanded on because he FEELS the fears and loss of the lives who return to him. I just wish Yhwach explains some of this to Ichigo rather than just repeating that he killed Ichigo's mother like the manga.

The flashback shows Ichibei in possession of the Soul King's left hand or Pernida, and potentially, the Soul King's right hand or Mimihagi as he was able to absorb all inbound reishi attacks and then reflect them. This is the exact same ability that Ukitake possesses as shown during the Battle of Fake Karakura town. I wonder how Ichibei lost these Soul King artifacts. I secretly hope to see at least one Zero division member use their bankai. Likely, Senjumaru since she was completely off-screened.

Definitely epi 24 make me more hype for cour 3 and 4, can wait to see the Origin of God, everything behind it. What a good time to be Bleach fan.

And the ones with power are a cabal of senile old men along with pompous elitist nobles who are guarded by thugs and saps deluded into thinking they’re in the right. Ichibe: well, no system’s perfect. We have to make due with what we have. Yhwach: how about actual welfare for the poor? Ichibe: ok that’s going too far. Yhwach: spoken like a true hired thug of the system.

What if they were revived using uryu's shrift or the balance? And somehow it doesn't matter how squad zero were strong and winning against the "elite sternritters" uryu or haschfalt interven and undo the damage, even not needing to show the rest of the team extended powers and leave it for the rest of gotei 13 to show their growth and determination as it was intended to, actually I'd love that and love if the auswahlen to only be used so that yhwach can overpower icheibi

I highly doubt they're cutting the askin ability reveal. I think they're just rearranging it next episode.

The Ichibei and Yhbach scene at the beginning was a pleasant surprise and I loved the extra dialogue with our main cast. The best part though was of course Oetsu eliminating the Shuttstaffel 😍

Kubo likes guns so much that he blessed us with a new gun themed quincy. Also, I love the first part of this episode. The new info on yhwach's past and why he didn't have the almighty 1000 years ago was very interesting.

I definitely think that from this point onward the anime will be the superior version of the story sure there will be some changes we might not like ( rukia’s peach and yoroichis entry for example) but I believe that from now on story will be the best part of the anime

Originally I was not excited for this episode but seeing it with that beginning anime only scene made it much better. Interested to to see how this develops from here. The only thing I dislike about this episode is that Yhwach walking past the weaver girl was changed. That was just soo much cooler. I’m also worried about what happens now with the sterns on the ground. Now that Y.W. didn’t kill the gun guy, and our no 1 zanpakato creator never lost his fight. That changes literally everything lol. Including Bazz B.

There’s some real sub differences depending where you watch. For this episode I watched a subbed version where oh etsu proclaimed he was the “top-notch”rather than Number 1, and with ichibe it was don’t blame me if I “snap/break your neck” rather than “lose your voice”

So those quincy royal guards are dead if not how they are going fit all those battles in two episodes or there is season 3

The much needed context for Yhwach makes the character way more interesting than he was in the manga and REALLY liked his manga version

Based off this episode alone I feel like we can say the zero division is getting the justice they deserved in the manga they’re presented as a real threat to yhwach in this episode

Not a medallion, its a button. I am not gonna argue if it's Uryu's or Ywach but the thing Ywach threw was a "Button". You can clearly see it is a button on the close up shot of it mid air.

If Haschwalth and Uryu defeat the Zero Squad- it will set the clear power gap- showing why the former and latter are Yhwach’s right hand man and successor respectively. It also makes it less egregious that the Gotei 13 captains managed to defeat them as they’re scaled down to Gotei 13 Captain level to make it more believable that their enemies managed to defeat them and make the Zero Squad look competent- fully deserving why they’re considered the strongest force of the Soul King.

Redeeming the 0 Squad was a good thing bec it shows that they didnt went down easily

It appears they completely cut the Orihime dress discourse, but I'm still hoping we have time for a proper Ichihime moment in this cour or in Cour 3. That, and the dress still needs to be explained. Otherwise, I am very happy with this complete rearrangement of events, since it seems to give us time for Ywach vs Ichibei AND a proper Royal Guard vs Schütstaffel battle. That, and any showing of Uryuu's Antithesis and possible Vollständig would be amazing. Finally, the flashback is amazing beyond belief!! So much lore, context, and character development. Speaking of which, I'm still annoyed at how anachronistic the Lichtreich's uniforms and gear are, since no one should have an automatic rifle nor these types of buttoned uniforms 1000 years ago. I feel it'd made more sense if they had crossbows and modified mail coats, hauberks, and gambesons more akin to Souken's faction. I mean, Souken himself was a Wandenreich defector and stole a lot of tech from there.

I wonder if the girl was Bambietta. It was so long ago she might have changed her hair color. Just a thought.

I'm sure cour 2 will be ended when remaining quincies and soul reapers teamups after auschwahlen and going to Soul Palace to confronting Yhwach
