The self-esteem thing is so true for me. I'm Native American and have really thick soft hair. It's finally gotten to be around 25 inches and I love it. I get a lot of compliments on it and people have actually asked me to "touch" my hair lol I also get questions asking if I'm wearing extensions and I'm like nope lol and I love the end result!!!

I wanted to show my mom her hair, so in order to do that...I had to put my thumb over her face. (My mom is terrified of body piercings and I knew that lacceys piercings would give her a heart attack)

My whole family is conservative and they accept me. They weren't accepting in the beginning however they learned. This is what I find attractive. It represent me as a person so I am proud to wear what I do.

This is so amazing...how did you rinse it out? Did you rinse it as you took down each foil, so the colors wouldn't blend into each other when rinsing? I've never tried this before but I like the way you sectioned the hair and your method, it can be a pain in the ass to do on yourself, I'm a hairdresser and I've done my hair for years, but I got sick of bleaching it myself so many times, and for me it's impossible to get a drop on my shoulder, shirt or face, even though I'm always super careful, but I always only used a high volume pro- oxide with a 12 color level, I guess I didn't get too much into bleaching the roots unless I broke out the foil....on myself...but it gets exhausting and I didn't trust many people with my hair...your amazing, really you inspired me!!!

So I know you've been dying your hair forever, like myself, but whenever I'm done bleaching or doing a vitamin C treatment my scalp burns like hell and there's no avoiding it. Even when I stay away from getting close to my scalp it still manages to somehow get on and it burns and gets all scabby and sensitive for a week. Do you know of any good bleach/developers for sensitive skin? I know I'm not allergic just everywhere on my body it extremely sensitive to almost everything besides lotion.

sorry for the bother, I have a question, and I know you're not a professional, but I trust your opinion and it doesn't hurt to ask. about six months ago I bleached my already processed hair (I waited a few months first) to about the color yours was and dyed it bright blue, and it's still pretty bright, but most parts are a light blue. I'm a pretty patient person, but I really want to go blonde for a little while before I go to my next color, and I wanted to have your opinion if you think it's safe or not. the only thing I'm really scared of is totally ruining my hair. I have been doing a lot of deep conditioning since I first dyed it, and I think it's in a pretty okay state, but then again I'm not entirely sure. if I could have your opinion that would be AMAZING! oh, and I LOVE your hair, you always come up with amazing color combinations.
