I've been wonderign where all the arcades went around Austin. I didn't even know this one was around. Now I've gotta look it up.

All new CH videos have been great as usual(except the cruical man ofcourse), but every time the video is in those last 2 seconds and the "HUH!" sound doesn't come, it nearly makes me cry.

the reason that arcades are failing today is because of pretty much every game in an arcade has a console version, The wii also has alot of those arcade style rail shooters that people dont have to go to the arcade for anymore

I used to work in an arcade too! My poison was the Neo Geo cabinet we had there. I played the shit outta Metal slug! We had the same type of cabinet in the day room in my training squadron in the Airforce.

There is a arcade like this in Houston called Planet Zero and it is Amazing!

I actually went to Tokyo recently and yeah their arcades are far superior to what you see in America..it is serious fucking business at Arcades in Tokyo...but it looks like this guy did a pretty good job replicating the way they look in Tokyo which is pretty cool...

Austin is a great town for arcade video. At Buffalo Billiard's on 6th St (upstairs) you can play Joust, Galaga, Ms Pac Man, Moon Patrol, etc. Ever since the White Rabbit closed, though, I can't find a Tempest (the greatest arcade game of all time, natch!).
