"Without family you're nothing" and that's why Adachi will always lose... cause he do not have family... family... I don't know if fast and furious is that good there, but here in Brazil it's pretty much a meme. Even though they did portrayed Brazil horribly in their movies, but it's not like americans understand too much of other countries cultures, geography and stuff...

I think it was mentioned in the game that he was purposefully “keeping his mouth loose” to throw everyone off his trail. So basically he was trying to leave a trail of red herrings
