When I hear the words blended family I shit in my pants. No no no blended family for me

Out of the many blended family videos I have watched so far. Yours gave more solutions than issues.

This is exactly what I needed to hear today. Thank you so much for posting. My situation is somewhat the same, with some interesting differences mixed in.

This teaching is awesome! I would like to see more of this taught in the churches to the Body of Christ! These are the real life issues that need to be taught instead of regurgitation of the same sermons year after year.

Me and my husband are a blended family and we are very solid and happy. Yeah it can sometimes come with its issues but ultimately family is family no matter the DNA. My husband even is going to adopt my two daughters with rapidadoption.com and it's awesome that we are finally able to do that. Thanks for sharing your opinions on different issues that can come up in a blended family.

My God, he touched on every single issue that I am dealing with right now with my boyfriend. I see no future with this man if he doesn't set boundaries and get his spoiled daughter under control. The giving away spousal love issue is particularly the problem Because his six-year-old thinks she is his girlfriend and that she can passively aggressively Push me off of him whenever I try to hug or kiss him or out hug and kiss him In jealousy that I just did it.. Or get mad that he gives me flowers and didn't buy her flowers too. Or ask me when I'm leaving so she can sleep in the bed with him. Or at breakfast asking when are you and mommy going to be back together again because i want you back together....I'm sick of him laughing about it and not correcting it.

Come on now, I have to tell my wife everytime I give my child some money? Really?

I knew about blended family’s as a child. I’ve saw it and still do with my mom and dad. My mom was single and merried my dad who had 2 teenagers. But my half sister’s mother passed away, so there mother’s parents raised them. My mom and dad had Us later ( 3 kids later) I’m 3 years older than my 1st half sister’s kid, that’s when she merried her husband. So her 3 kids don’t call any of us aunt and uncle, because my mom had a little boy after me 6 years later. So I’m just Beth . And the one 3 years younger than me has 2 kids and I’m just Emily or Beth to them also. And the other half sister’s 2 son’s don’t call me aunt either . So yes I understand how My mom feels , I’ve seen it. Thay except her now years later but for a long period of time thay didn’t.

Don't think I want a blended family, seems like way to much work and war and not worth it.

How can this man say a new lover comes first? If you and your child were together through hard times and you love your kids first and didn't even know your new spouse, so when you divorce for a 3rd time the 4th spouse comes first again over your kids? If the spouse came first you wouldn't be divorced in the first place! Remember that. Kids come first. Girls are 4 times higher in sexual abuse from stepfamilies so if the stepfather comes first the daughter should be beaten and raped as a gift for him. I was that stepchild that was never put first, went to school hungry, no new clothing because he said i am a girl and girl are traders to a family. Mom says 3rd husband has to come first. Unconditional love is for your kids, conditional love is with a new lover that can change

My wife puts my stepdaughter first and has said shes her favorite. We have a child together and she has 2 my boys who are step sons. Evrytime we go to store my wife and stepdaughter is always thinking of just stepdaughter and it's not fair to all the othe 3 children. I try to discipline stepdaughter not dmto do something my wife's excuses come example she probably accidentally clicked on a bad vidoe when there's multiple videos of girls dancing and she's watching them to learn how to dance provocative and or wife says well the boys do this, it's always a competition with kids or when we argue about something else

Step kids cannot inherit from a step parent look it up! Unless adopted. What happens is the money goes to the stepparents and then they get remarried again and your kids lose out! This guy is wrong! U need to protect family heirlooms foe your kids! What you worked for will end up to someone else's family

God's intent was to not blend families. Now adays though, that's the reality.
