I can't do the 2nd bevel for some reason. :(

Not sure why, but I keep getting this straight line on top of the heart's curve and it's not going away. I tried increasing the smoothness but it didnt help

How do you extrude in two different dimensions?

if you're talking about 20seconds in, then it's press 3 (in edit mode), select the two faces (top & left) then right click & extrude individual faces.

Leslie, make sure that the vertices do not intersect, so the bevel will be smoother)

When doing the ctrl B = bevel mod my edges won't curve the ways yours is, they're staying very rectangular how do I solve this?

I needed to roll the middle button on my mouse, figured it out!
