4.5 hours spread out through mostly a single day.
The first of my newest line of commissions. This one went along pretty fast, though that's probably because I somehow got this done in about two sittings if you don't count breaks in between to stretch and snack.

A tutorial or even just a slowed-down version would be amazing edit: I know that would take a lot of work, especially for a 5-hour project but if the opportunity comes up it would be nice to see!

I just got into Blender literally doing the Donut tutorial just to get the hang of it and this is absolutely, inspires me!! Would love to get some tips/Tricks if you have any!

Glad to see more people getting into this! Biggest tip I could give is patience and exercises. It will potentially take a while to get up to a quality level you'll be happy with. And every now and then, give yourself a challenge project that takes advantage of every skill you know. Use it to figure out what areas you need to focus on getting more familiar with!

Could you perhaps do a tutorial on the methods you used for UV unwrapping and coloring? Assigning materials to vertices and then baking that into a texture to edit is such a cool method and I want to know how I can do that.

Can i ask what you did in 1:43? I am using this video as reference for making my own 3d model, when i select smooth vertices laplacian it says all faces must be triangles or quads This is my second time ever attempting doing a 3d model and also second time using blender so i don't know what i'm doing wrong
@mikequeen123
@mikequeen123 3 жыл бұрын
Guessing I over/undershot when choosing which smooth I was using and hit Laplacian smooth instead of shade smooth.
