A less-edited timelapse video of a new scythe weapon I created! I think the model looks nice however I should've tried harder on the VFX/effects and decorations.

Just use the knife tool for tracing, after you're done, remove the faces and topologize it properly

At the time of this video, this was around one to two weeks of learning Blender. I didn't have much experience at that time and this was one of my first ever weapons I created. And hey since you're also trying to learn Blender, there's a KZfaqr known as Ryan King Art which could really help you get started on the basics and even advanced object if you ever need some guidance! how do you add the seperate parts of the weapon ?

There are many ways to add the different parts of the weapon, what I often do however is exporting the separate parts in their own file and then importing it in a different file so I can move one freely and connect it whenever I'd like. For example, the spike that I added to the scythe was a separate part from the weapon and how I did that was by exporting that spike from blender in its own file which I called "Spike" then I imported it and hooked it onto the weapon itself, making it look more detailed and able to place it wherever I wanted. Then, after you positioned the separate part onto where you want it on the weapon, simply put it in the same model, clean the model, and weld it. And there you go, from there you can pretty easily turn it into a tool and use it for any of your needs. Please let me know if this did not answer your question, I'll gladly go into more detail and explain much better.

Hey , so I'm lurning blender and I want to ask can you color and make VFX and all the good stuff in blender and just import it to Roblox ?

Yeah, you can texture paint anything you'd like in blender and export it to Roblox Studio. Just make sure to save the texture before exporting it. You can also create VFXs in blender, it might require a few more steps but I assure you, it'd look much higher quality then ones you can create in RBLX studio. Hope this helped!😁

Topology nightmare, at least some cuts with quads would look a bit better, but shading in roblox is already trash, so not that neccessary tbh
