Great thought, that natural = realistic. Usually natural means imperfect for me. Here is a tip for fast realism: random colour/roughness/bump. Use noise texture (usually default noise looks unreal, so I always set detail to max and noise roughness to higher level [.8 or .9]. Scale can be low, depends on situation). Plug this to a color ramp, and then to roughness. Now black is absolutely reflective surface and white is the opposite. Copy this setup, set noise to 4D (basically it’s seed). Plug it into ‘height’ of the Bump node and then to normal input. Control the strength of the bump node. Smooth surfaces have less bumpiness of course, so if it’s glass for example - lower the noise parameters. But remember, that there is no absolutely smooth surface. For colour, plug the same setup into the factor of mix node. Mix between your original colour and a darker version of it for example. You can try in on the default cube and you’ll see the difference)

Love this tut. Can you tell me how I could add bump to this edge-wear process please:)

Difficult to explain in a comment, do a google search on "bump" node, and you will most likely find what you're looking for.
