how did you burn the cube up like that? how did you make it actually get burned up instead of just staying on fire

How can one adjust the transparency of the exported render on PNG files? I keep getting almost completely transparent flames when importing into video editing software.... I did a 3D text mesh, but the flames are just not visible... have to do a solid color plane, then chroma key it out but there is always some residue of the colored background when doing that... Any ideas how to adjust the flame transparency?

i have started learning blender. its been 3 months and have started making some vfx. and now i am making Thor's miojnir, problem is that how should i summone that in sky out of nowhere in between the video. means if i add that in video its there for whole time from beginning, i want that to appear at particular time in video

A made it until 12:45 Once he add the attribute to the emission strength he have an effect immediately but I don't, it doesn't do anything :,(

@@dylanthegreat26 I found a comment solving this issue and it says "maintain the render engine to eevee, do the part of attribute/name to flame, configure the color ramp as the tutorial. Change the of the attribute from Flame to Heat* and change the render to Cycles" *I don't know if that actually works, I think you just use Eevee, reboot Blender, redo the attribute and color ramp and change to Cycles. Btw the comments was in italian and i don't speak Italian, but I speak Spanish so from there I tried to translate 😅

Eh, so everything was fine until I got to the shading. I followed with the video but when you plugged into emission strength at 12:45 the same result wasn't replecated on my own file...

Tive o mesmo problema. Reiniciei o programa, mantive render enginee em "Eevee". Preenchi "Attribute/Name" com "flame", configurei o "ColorRamp" como no tutorial. Somente depois é que mudei o "Attribute/Name" para "heat" e então alterei render enginee para "Cycles". Esta funcionando agora.

Did I miss something or why did you use two color ramps instead of one for the curve radius?

I don't know if you found out already, but what he did was he reversed the color ramp so that both the start and the end could tipper off. Sorry if that wasn't what you asked for.

@@Cursed_Raven Yeah, I saw what he did but I was wondering why he uses two color ramps. You can add lots of sliders to a color ramp, so why not simply make it black on both ends and white inbetween?

I followed all the steps to the T and then baked the data and then nothing happened.😭 No fire even when I continue to the shading nodes. Does anyone know what's going on?

when i type heat on the shading tab nothing happens ive got everything linked up but the heat attribute isnt doing anything what have i done wrong?

If you haven't figured it out yet: you must set Cycles as render engine, it doesm't work this way with Eevee

Instead of using the Heat attribute you could try typing "flame" this works in Eevee. You will most likely have to play around with the positioning of the ColorRamp handles to get it to look right.
