If your text does not morph then you should set the wind flow to 3 and the strength to 1.3 in the 41st frame. Also try moving the wind a little far from the object, then the animation will be successful. Thank you @Blender Made Easy for such a wonderful and detailed tutorial!!

I was here for the video editor part. that "reverse frames" checkbox will do wonders on my next animation. Is there any way to key frame this option? what if I want the video to reverse halfway through the animation??? Thank you

I got everything done. Well made video. I just had a problem when rendering. The camera cut off the last couple letters in the text. Any ideas on what I did wrong?

Dude, I ran into a problem where the letters are mixing in the air from the first frame. I tried adding more vertices and tried changing character spacing but it doesn't work, what can be a possible solution?

why blander take so long to render out form the video editor ? it takes as long as if you render a 3d scene.

4:25 Didn't work. Double and triple-checked all the settings and re-baked it. The fluid goes crazy and fills the entire domain until frame 59 where it disappears into the upper two corners. The domain is just grayed out for the rest of the animation. Can anyone help me, please???!!! :(

You didn’t go over how to get the liquid colors? Also I’m having an issue my text looks like it’s falling apart before animation even begins and I checked there isn’t a key frame issue

yes. just make this. then keyframe the location and move the domain around

how do you animate the deleting default cube? (shrinking effect)

he keyframed its scale, went forward on timeline, then he pressed scale, then he pressed 0, then he keyframed the scale again. at least, thats what i think he did. but you can try that and see if it works

Thanks. My only issue trying this is that the text starts out looking a bit melty even with a resolution division of 300. Any way to fix?

I had the same problem, turning the Mesh upres factor to 2 worked, though it made it slower.

Would it be possible to bake the simulation and turn it into keyframes, like it's possible with rigidbody? Then you could reverse the keyframes.

@4:25, why doesn't the fluid splash up along the domain? I'm trying to achieve the first half of the effect, where I have an object filled with fluid, and then the object "disappears" and the fluid crashes downwards. This is a great tutorial by the way! :)

Did you remove the gravity from the field weights? if yes put it back to one, and the water should splash.

No matter what resolution I put my bake on, Blender keeps crashing. I am using 3.6.2. I dropped the resolution to 64 and I still can't bake it. Any ideas, I have wasted so much time on this. Btw thanks for this tutorial nice and easy to follow!

why does my text show up in the render. i just want the text fluid. Not the actual text.

Great tutorial. As a beginner, this was very helpful. For me a wind flow of 2 worked the best. However, I have a very annoying problem that I can't seem to get rid of. Even after hiding the text, in the final render my text shows up in addition to the fluid morphing into a liquid. Any idea why that might be and how to remove it? Thanks!

thankk youuuu, i tried 5, then 4, then 3 and it was still going all wonky. was about to give up but then saw this comment and was like okkk lemme try 2 and it worked!

I know this is late but I've just come across this tutorial and seen your comment. I encountered the same issue. After 1.5 days and getting the lads in the lad to run some tests, I believe I've figured out the solution: you can hide the Text in cycles by going into the orange box tab above the Spanner icon and scroll down to Visibility, uncheck Camera.

i made it with a different text , if i do the step at 06:17 render animation its not showing the whole text...i have to adjust the camera? can someone explain to me how i can get the full text in camera? Sorry i m a noob :(

maybe you could do what this tutorial showed but you add invisible obstacles that the "melted" object will flow though then you can reverse it like in the video.

Can you not just render it backwards by setting your start frame to 180 and your end frame to 1 ?

considering that there is a "as easy as" solution INSIDE blender... and he did not morph anything , just used other app to revert the video, this is lazy im sorry..... you should use BLENDERs own tools since its a blender channel and show how its done there.... othewise what is the f point:?! also if you just letting the fluid fall from the text...there is something called GRAVITY that you turned off to use wind as a substitute.....
