Best purchase I’ve made for my truck is an air fryer. I buy things like chicken, steak, pork chops, and smoked sausage. I start off by cutting baby yellow potatoes into bite-size pieces and spritz them with olive oil spray and sprinkle seasoning on them. I put those in the air fryer at 400° for about six minutes. While the potatoes are cooking I cut up my protein, spritz it with spray, olive oil, and seasoned it. I’ll put my protein in for about another 6 to 8 minutes with the potatoes.

New tarp is awesome! If you try to trim Benji again, be sure to put one of the plastic combs on the trimmer to keep it from getting too close to his skin. Looks like he was trimmed without a comb and the clippers got too close. It can be tricky to keep the clippers away if he squirms while your trimming, so the comb would help. Glad you were able to get him to the vet. ❤

To keep the tarps from coming up on the ends strap down the excess tarps. You could also put a 2x4 over the excess and strap the 2x4 down. Got to eliminate the chance of air getting behind the oversize signs and under tarps

Hi Becca, The boots are so funny! Great idea! Instead of bandages buy some cheap men's tube socks, largest size and cut off the foot. Slip the tube over Benjis neck to cover. Will be absorbent and comfortable and he won't be able to scratch thru that but it will allow air to circulate and dry out the irritated area so it will heal. You're a good dog mommy. Stuff happens. Love the new tarps.

I changed tires for Love's for small amount of time and I've never heard of step deck tires (I'm assuming it is still a 22.5, but even shorter than a lowpro). I got lucky that the guy who trained me started off every road call by reaching out to the driver and verifying the driver's location, tire location/size/type/quantity, and seeing if there was any additional damage that wasn't told to me (from the mudflap being damaged to the needing to be replaced). You'd be amazed at how often small details get completely overlooked/miscommunicated when you're just the guy changing tires. Never be afraid to call around to other places that offer roadside, like TA/Flying J. Some days our shop would have 8 hour wait times to get into the bay while TA allegedly had 45 minute wait times. Other days we'd bring people into bays immediately and they'd tell us that TA couldn't see them until 7 AM. In theory, a roadcall at Love's has priority over any shop related service for a tire tech (and usually the mechanics too). Not all shops are properly run though and will give very long wait times because the people on shift don't want to take the call or because the service advisors will tell the techs that they need to finish 1-2 more trucks before leaving for the roadcall so they don't get yelled at by customer's because their estimated wait time got bumped (unless you are in the bay or the person who is going to be working on your truck is talking to you, take any time estimates with multiple grains of salt). If you run 19.5 tires, expect to get a massive wait time. These tires are so rare and hard to do that sending an inexperienced guy out will almost always take longer than waiting for someone who has been doing it for years (you watch a video on how to change 19.5's when you first start, but you may not see your first 19.5 for months). If you call us saying you need multiple 19.5's changed on a hot summer day, only the high performing and experienced mechanics will usually take those calls.

When you have to get a tyre repair company to fix a tyre I always give them the size of the tyre so they don’t bring the wrong one, but glad they got it sorted for you, great video Bec love the new tarps.

I had a cat that got bit by something and a hole in her leg was all the way to the bone . I cleaned it and put wild honey on it then bandaged it. In two days time it was half healed and flesh had filled in the hole. It was fully healed in a week , I put honey on it each day. Wild honey is good for wounds not sure about burns.

You gotta close your windows when you turn on the AC setting on your APU LOL it works wonders.If your truck has the blackout curtains for the windows,close them as well,it makes a huge difference.best wishes Benji! A bit of advice on a spread axle with low profile 22s. If you lose one tire have them bring two out replace them both. Also the area you run I would not put recaps on that trailer

Hello you may have heard of it already but if you haven't you should get an Insta Pot, it's a pressure cooker,crock pot and rice cooker all in one. I can make a beef stew in 1hr 10min start to finish, there are lots of recipes online that take less than 1hr to make and would do your chicken in about 40 min at most. Just something to consider for faster cook times. Glad to see you and your kiddos are doing ok.
