Although I love the idea of Alador being an actual good father, as soon as he gives a single crap that Odalia was mad her son was dating a guy, it was OOC. Alador sucks almost as much as Odalia. From what we've observed, Alador only showed the tiniest concern for Luz, which makes him the tiniest bit better than Odalia.

That may be true AT FIRST. But throughout seasons he actually did try to be a better dad. Which is why he isn’t as abusive as Odalia. Also he was abusive because Odalia kept him locked up in his workshop working. He really was just doing what Odalia was doing🤷‍♀️

I’m not trying to be nice to Odalia, I literally hate her. But, She isn’t homophobic. In one of the later episodes, when she captures Luz and amity, she says “oh no, we’ll find you a NEW GIRLFRIEND. One that isn’t on wanted posters”. This just proves that she isn’t homophobic, I’m not trying to cover up fractions though, she’s a terrible person.
