my school have really strict rules but i wanna tell the basic rules that all government school have - boys cant have long hair (if they can grab their hair that mean their hair is long) - boys must tuck in the uniform - some school not allow girls to have long hair - girls must tied up their hair we cant do other hairstyles and no hair accessories - we cant dye hair - no makeup - we cant bring phone or any gadget without permission - some school not allow us to bring scissors - cant wear bracelet and necklace and many more :)

Not for me though, coz I like Math. But when I went for the Form 6, at a different school, they don't have Math subject. They only offered Geography and Economy. So I chose Geography coz I suck at Economy. Heck I even went for the Science side class, back when I was in Form 4, because the Art-side class have Economy and Literature.

@@nurha1289 Yup, memorizing names places & date is boring especially when it come to Malaysia history, too many famous people with long name. Our spectacles frame cannot be thicker than 1.5cm. I got called by Principal for having thick frame specs haha then i had to make a new one lol Make up of course 100% cannot. Imagine if the course/job you're going for doesn't need math, physics, chemistry, biology, and it doesn't fit with the art stream, accounting stream, business stream or science stream with the mentioned subjects that people typically enter form 4 and form 5,,, so you waste highschool years. because that's me rn XD I went to public school, and went into science stream because it was 'the smartest class' and apparently had the most job opportunities or whatever--- when i graduated, i entered public university and realised those 5 years weren't useful at all--- i can't fill my taxes or make a CV for work. in fact, i need to relearn public speaking, social skills, have confidence and all that jazz i could have learned in school.

Thats why i wrote down "if u think positively".. Every cloud has a silver lining (we have drawn lessons from the decision taken) but i get what youre saying.. Each person is different... For me i apply to learn them at school because i want to.. No force whatsoever.. For u it seems like u made a slightly wrong choices as u said "u chose mainstream science because its the smartest class & more job opportunity"... Girl, in the first place u gotta take what u like first and foremost and not chose it because of "that" reason only... 😂

@@feirasevea3236 that one is mostly because of circumstance.. i'm from a poor area, and the nearest school had problem students in every other class except science stream. I'm talking rude mouths, playing hooky and skipping class, smoking, lazyness etc. This is also partly true for other schools in the area, though this stigma of science nerds = wider career choices on there are more subtle. Interestingly enough, my school didn't have bullying cases or money-stealing cases, but the 'better academically-performing schools' would even have suicide cases though majority of the students there from all streams are definitely more disciplined than us. *We're separated by intelligence in form 1 to form 3, before being delegated to streams according to the extent of our grades right?* For 15 yr olds who didn't really know what to aim for anyway, 'kelas depan' (the class in the front) is the way to go. I bet most normal kids would follow their friends, VERY rarely a kid in like Class D would go into science stream alone and say bye-bye to their 3yr friends from class D who probably went to the same stream because of their grades. Well, i suppose that's one benefit i experienced. Because of all those tiresome subjects we learnt for two years for spm, we could literally choose to continue our studies in medicine, business, or go waaaaay off by being in hotel management and such which render those learnt subjects useless. We definitely need more specialized school programs/courses in Malaysia and get exposed to them before Form 2, but i suppose it'll take a long while for a nuance of this change to reach audiences from backwater areas. Like if i knew a school like that korean one showcased here existed in Malaysia, and is affordable with standard minimum wage to pursue, i would definitely search for similar options and enter that one when i was Form 4 instead of science cuz to be real honest with you, i hated the core subjects of all streams except art, but choosing art stream was pretty shaky considering-- what if i wanted to be a lawyer? Or the art stream was too easy for me which will negatively impact my learning capabilities? I needed to be constantly intellectually stimulated and challenged and art stream wasn't doing it for me. Suddenly, graduating in art stream (while doing projects with problem classmates to boot!) did not appeal to me at all. And i'm glad i didn't. I just wish there's more specialized streams.

Actually it's totally different when you compare with normal high school. For me when Im 16 and 17 years old, it's like hell because we need to carry text books😭 it's not 1 bag. Usually 3 bags. It's hurt a lot because we don't have place to put text books.😭 Usually my discipline teacher always got mad to me because I keep put text books under the table 😭😭😭😭😭

In Malaysia we have many type of secondary school. Not sure in Korea. But we have 1st. Secondary school. Generally, this schools run by Gov or Non Gov or combination both sectors. 2nd. Vocational secondary school where we learn more on technical works such as fashion, basic engineering, automobile etc. We also call this ' sekolah teknik '. 3rd. We have sport school ( sekolah sukan ) where student focus more on sports. Most young athletes go to this school. 4th. Secondary science school ( MRSM or Science school ) and this one, all students have to stay in school dorms. To explain the difference between all these type of secondary school will be too long. U guys can look up in the internet if u guys are interested to know.

she goes to an international school which I envy her a lot T^T International school costs a lot of money per month/year and as a Malaysian if I know someone goes to an international school, I'll definitely know they're rich rich HAHAHAHAH Public school in Malaysia doesn't have a swimming pool, we just have a big field to do sports but my school have bowling, badminton and handball clubs which some schools don't have it and I ended up being in handball, runner and marching teams. Marching is quite popular among Malaysian's curriculum activities. I hope Blimey can have content about this. And we have textbooks that we inherited from the seniors and our school schedule was longer than that. I don't know if it's the same as other school but I'm back from school at 5 pm haih

I wouldn't stereotype private/intl school students to be rich rich 😅 my dad was actually in debt while putting me into an intl school because he wants me to have more exposure to social and international activities. Sure there are rich rich students, usually they're the Queen bees because they garner attention from being active in paying and participating school events, but take note there are some of us who aren't rich rich too.

yup, i'd wake up and school's morning assembly starts at 7:15am, then classes end at 2:00 or 2:30pm. 3:00pm and onwards would be about co-curriculum or extra classes and voila! Back at home around 5 pm :')
