Being an owner of Honda City 2020 model I haven't seen an issue like this, I can definitely say it is a manufacturing defect in his car.

I am a Honda fan. I own a gen 3 Honda city with paddle shifters, which I bought in 2008. She still purrs through the streets of Kochi flawlessly. I am sad to see Honda drop in quality with time in India. I wish they maintain, if they cant upgradr the brands image of being high quality dream cars.

Do proper inspections with gov approved person and file consumer case on Honda, you will definitely get your problem resolved

"Negativity spreads faster", that's the ideology of some youtubers now a days. I got my City delivered on the occasion of Rathyatra 800kms so far in a semi-urban area and I don't have any issues with the headlights.

It is not his personal problem but this is the problem of every Honda car customer. The company has to take care of this problem. If he approaches consumer court, the company will face the problem.

The most value for money model is the V (base) varient. It have all the premium features one can use. It's base varient is offering those features which any other car company is not offering in their base model.

Have always loved Honda's products, but was never a fan of their headlights. Thought the gen 3 Honda City headlights diminished their intensity after 2 years, the new WRV headlights (LED setup-2021 model) isnt good for highway driving on high ways. I can agree with this problem and Honda India should seriously look into this. As being a sedan, night driving is already a problem in India now, as most of the people in India own SUVs or Compact SUVs are drive on high beam 100% of the time

Fog lamps se itni problem hai iss owner ko toh after market projector led fod light lagwa le aur headlight change krwa le normal headlight se jo iske lower variant ka hai Iss owner ko car lene se pehle decide krna chahiye tha brand ko kosne ka koi fayda nhi hai

Honda has started doing this they are doing cost savings, they have also begun putting the Stereo from local vendors instead of a reputed brand, and once broken that stereo can't be fixed. When asked they have no answer on that as well.

I am also facing same issue. To solve this issue change fog lamp only the solution. Go with 150w fog lamp. After that no need to swich on honda 9 array led light😊

I have bought the same model, I would say I am not a motor enthusiast, but still out of basic experience I knew that 9 array head lamps spreading white (color temperature) light is a cosmetic upgrade, moreover it will never match the focus of projectors and the throw of HIDs. Looking at the fog lamps I again knew this was only a cosmetic all LED setup. Found it decent enough for my regular usage. I think on the face of it city (9 array) shouts out loud that it is more cosmetic appealing rather than practicality. For a first time car owner i can understand, but mostly honda city buyers will have some ownership and driving experience of prior cars and must take informed decisions.I would not complaint to honda!

Any headlights which are led based don't show proper visibility. Check creta or any other company

I own the Honda City 2020 zx manual. I have not observed the vibration of the reflectors, but yes the headlights are heavily under powered. I use the car heavily on highways and this headlight spoils the fun of night drives.

I drive a 2020 City Zx MT, and the problem does exist. Having driven extensively in the rains of Western Ghats the stock lights are useless. I've come around the problem by installing a STEDI 18" LED bar below the number plate which works wonderfully well. But, it's not legal and a reason for the cops to stop you.

I experienced LED headlamp is of no use. Projector and halogen is much better. Keep in mind that LED is cheaper. Car manufacturers are cheating customers by saying LED is a premium product. White LED cannot be used in rain and fog too.

The problem is taxes that Indian Govt imposes on both the manufacturer and buyer.

Same issues with my car also. Did the same thing, emails to Honda and dealer but no solution provided. Bought in Feb 2021 made repetitive complaints but Honda didn’t do anything.

I bought zx i april 2023, whatever he us saying is true, however head light past is over exaggerated but fog light is of no use in this model, worst part is that one cant upgrade fog lamps

If headlight is bad then we can't take it to night drives. The headlight casing itself is either poor design or not tested for bad roads

You opened my eyes, I was planning to buy Hybrid. I was totally disappointed with this headlight. I prefer to have yellow light in fog and projector headlamps for night drive. Honda is not giving any other option in hybrid.

Don't unnecessary criticise good cars.. no issues with light.. It has good throw and any car headlight will get distort on hitting rough patches.
