Denise Leigh & Stefan Andrusyschyn were mistaken by the judges for a comedy act as they humorously told their unlikely love story. But when the visually impaired couple began their act, it brought the judges to tears, with Stefan flawlessly playing the piano and Denise’s powerhouse voice leading to a standing ovation. They share what the reaction has been like and why sight loss won’t stop them from reaching for the star.

They were superb! Great song choice for her vocals. I still can not believe they did not get the golden buzzer. Lovely lovely couple and wonderful performance. ❤

People with disability are always put 5:51 🥰🌸 on the back burner, and this beautiful couple just stood and sang so beautifully and just showed we have talent. Boy, this couple sang the roof off, well done.🥰
