When blind people gain the ability to see again they can't actually understand what they're seeing for a long time. Because their brain doesn't know how to interpret the signals the eyes are sending it. People who have never been blind don't even think about it. But a lot of times people have been blind literally have to touch something in order to connect it in their mind to what it actually looks like. It takes a very long time and its a very gradual process for the brain to be able to interpret the images and for their eye sight to be as good as someone who was never blind. At LEAST a couple years depending on how young they are.

I disagree. She didn't like him the moment she saw him. She wanted to kiss the young man, but also wanted nothing physical with the older man. It's true that he wanted things quickly, and that he thought that she wanted that too. She lied to him and herself because she wanted material gains.

a sad story indeed. and the thing is she had no idea that the guy she would marry was so evil she thought it was another guy. i actually used to be blind (for a while) so can relate. a really sad story though because think of the life she could have had but now shes stuck

It reminds me of the storyline where iron man bribes daredevil with a lifetime of pills that temporarily restore daredevil's vision so he will stop interfering with iron man's corrupt acts.

Beautiful recap. Not feeling the fact that Mikhail wanted to marry Nastya, especially for the reason that he did, practically coercing her into sex, shit was not right, and he should have seen that she wasn't happy in the relationship.
