Applebloom’s obsession with this Great Seedling does indeed mirror Linus’ obsession with the Great Pumpkin.

There are only 3 things i liked about this episode- 1. The Great Seedling, his design was awesome 2. Bright Mac and Pear Butter made a second appearance. 3. The sisterly bonding between AJ and Apple Bloom.

I did not know you grew up on a farm. That's a sweet little detail that helps to understand... well, a few things, really. I can see why Applejack is your favorite. ;) Also, the connections with this episode, in particular. I'm glad I stayed to listen to your commentary after. (Normally, I just stick around for your in-the-moment reactions, and I don't really pay attention to the after commentary (sorry if it offends :/ ))

Guess it does make sense when Applejack was Apple Bloom’s age Granny Smith would be the same age as she was during most of the flashback in The Perfect Pear.

Hmm....Kirin are real, Pony of Shadows is real, Grogar's Bell is real therefore Grogar is real, Magic Christmas Reindeer are real, The Great Seedling ISN'T real?! Something doesn't add up... AJ, you use rainbow lasers to kill villains, you don't believe a Reindeer that Tree powers? UGH.
