I like Starlight's character. I like how this character groves up. In the beginning, she was an enemy of the Mane six, but then she became a true loyal friend. She was not accepting Friendship and Harmony, but then she became a protector of Friendship. Also she even kept the memories of all of her friends in a special magical scrapbook as a gift for Twilight! Such a beautiful friendship expression! Such an amazing character development is rarely seen in any else show!

I like Rarity. She’s my 4th favorite Mane 6 pony. From the beginning, she came off as a stereotypical prissy character to me. However in later episodes, I started to find some common ground with her ability to create beautiful things (as I create fine artwork myself). Yes, she does stumble and take the wrong approach in certain situations. But, I know that she has a good, generous heart and I love that about her. She’s beautiful, stylish, and often at times hilarious (thanks to Tabitha St. Germain’s delivery) and that’s why Rarity is among my favorites among the Mane cast. Another fun reaction, Applegeek! Rarity has had the most growth for me , I used to hate her, but over time she became my second favorite mane 6 character, my num 1 being pinkie, rarity had great change over the shows time, from being a prissy stereotypical brat, to a pony who is feminine but not afraid to get dirty , she went from my least favourite to my 2nd favorite mane 6 pony

Rarity fixing a wagon wheel probably makes sense though(Since I'm pretty sure she works with spinning wheels and sewing machines... both of which likely have wheel mechanisms that might break on occasion.... Fixing a wagon wheel with magic is probably the same as fixing the main flywheel on a spinning wheel should that get broken somehow....)

Perhaps part of the issue with the Element of Generosity has to do with the fact that the original concept _wasn't_ Generosity, but Inspiration. It's similar to how Rainbow Dash was supposed to be the Element of Honesty, and Applejack the Element of Loyalty. When you think about their characters, Rainbow Dash tends to be honest, though a bit blunt (that can also apply to Starlight, but she didn't come in till later). And Applejack is primarily about family and kinship with her friends, which tends to be traits that indicate loyalty. But back on the topic of Generosity, sure, Rarity can tend to appear to have anterior motives. But that's more along the lines of the concept of Pay It Forward. I don't think Rarity actually expects to get something in return. I just think that she knows that she _can_ get something in return. As you point out though, Rarity is a business mare. This part of her personality tends to show her more negative aspects. But you know when she is genuine.

Basically, they're a mini-prequel series leading up to Twilight's coronation in the Last Problem. 1:27-1:33 Series 10 will be in printed form, in case anyone is wondering. 1:37-1:45 That's also the reason I'm doing these highlights. I only started writing them at the beginning of Season 7. 1:58-2:08 Starlight and Spike visit Rarity's boutique. 2:08-2:30 Rarity is busy preparing Twilight's coronation gown for her fitting. Apparently it's her 14th version. Also, Applegeek's reaction. 2:28-2:43 Starlight is putting together a magical scrapbook. She just needs some memories to go inside. Applegeek disapproves of her using magic. 2:30-2:33 Starlight's smile. 2:44-3:01 Twilight arrives for her fitting, though she's pretty sure her measurements haven't changed. Also, I think the first appearance of Nightmare Moon was a reference to Maleficent in Disney's Sleeping Beauty. 4:18-4:20 Those faces. 4:19-4:22 Yes indeed, Applegeek. 4:38-4:41 Steven drenches the Mane 6. But Rarity says "short tails are in [fashion] this season." She also points out it will grow back. I'm disappointed they didn't include Rainbow Dash saying "so would the moustache." 5:58-9:02 The Mane 6 are in Manehattan. Rarity has been able to pull strings for them to see Hinney of the Hills. She's also overly generous to everyone in the city (Generosity). 6:00-6:04 This background stands out to me because it's used in Elements of Justice; a fan project which acts as a sequel to Turnabout Storm - an MLP/Phoenix Wright crossover. Also, I think that sign is a reference to Cats. 6:02-6:08 Applegeek remembers Rarity's many Mane mishaps - trying saying that five times fast. In Rarity Takes Manehatten You have to realize Rarity is a small town Pony. The only other big city she saw was Canterlot which is the Capital of Equestria so it would have a totally different vibe then others big cities. I think Rarity had the wrong concept because she only spent time in Canterlot so I think she was caught off guard and was angry at herself but she had no clue how to deal with it.

Rarity is my favorite of the mane 6 and honestly I agree with a lot of your statements and why she isn’t your favorite but she will always be a Diamond in my heart mainly because I can relate to her I won’t say I like to keep as clean as her but I always like to be generous and help where I can, I also have a very creative mind and have done my best to share that with the world It’s also probably worth mentioning that she looks good in almost every outfit and I find her beauty very enticing but that’s not the man’s reason I think she is best Pony The thing with Spike in my opinion is that Rarity doesn’t really use spike but rather he likes to help where he can and just finds a good time helping Rarity Another thing though is some of her episodes haven’t been the best such as - Simple Ways - Dragon Dropped - The Cart Before The Ponies Where I have disagreed with her actions However I’m the end she will always have a special place in my Electrified heart and I will miss her just as much as all the other mane 6

Think about it Applegeek (no, I am not giving up just yet.) If you were to review Goosebumps, you would have plenty to go over. Reviewing books, explaining personal thought, reacting to episodes from the tv show(though probably with fair use). That can keep you up your toes.
