I was not expecting such a good coherent moral to this story. Larsen goes up another notch for pulling the writing off for this one. I loved how they turned things upside down from usual fan ideas and made Bonbon the 'crazy' one and Lyra the straight man (mare) of the duo. And Steven Magnet's VA also voiced Gummy.

Regarding Bon Bon, it's my understanding that the character has had 2 names: Bon Bon and Sweetie Drops. So Larson brought up the whole secret agent thing as a reason for why she has two names. Also it also is supposed to explain why her voice is different in every episode. I think the multiple name thing was explained for Vinyl by Hasbro offscreen. Vinyl Scratch is the pony's actual name and DJ-Pon3 is her Disk Jockey name.

To me, the ending speech was related to fanfiction. About how the fandom loves to make up these personalities and histories for random background characters and making them larger than they are. That whole Bon Bon backstory smells of parodying fanfiction. This episode is not merely fanservice as many pepole say it is. It makes some headcannons canon while breaking others. What the fandom wanted: Octavia and Vinyl roommates? Yes. Vinyl has a voice? No. Bon Bon as a real name? No, but she still kept it as an alias. Lyra likes humans? No. That's why we got trolled at the end when she said she had a deep dark secret. Derpy named Derpy? No. Muffins(credits). Derpy likes muffins? Hinted. Bon Bon and Lyra ship? Hinted. Vinyl and Octavia ship? Nope. Doctor Whooves and Derpy ship? None. References to FoE? None. A real shame.

Isn't it kinda sad, ironic, and amusing, that 'Doctor'/Time Turner/Doctor Whooves is the male pony with the most canon character development in all of MLP:FiM? Even more so than Big McIntosh, and McIntosh is a support pony, while Doctor Whooves is just a background pony.

My Opinion on Episode 100 is. I Think It is Beautiful and Really Great with Amazing and Interesting Scenes.
