By “Your kind knows nothing but hunger”, Gabe means all robots in general. Remember how swordmachine in act 1 was smashing husks? All machines use blood as fuel, not only V1 and V2. After they destroyed humanity, they followed it in hell to continue refueling on blood. Plus, lore entries for V2 can be trusted, there shouldn’t be more robots like V1 and V2.

V1, V2, streetcleaners, swordmachines, mindflayers etc. It’s just that, only V1 has special plating that allows it to absorb blood through its armor and repair mid-fight. Other robots, including V2, have to self-repair and refuel outside of combat.

@@MatiasPlayerOne I hope not cause that would make the ferryman a lot less special and interesting. The level and buildup to the fight was sick and I don't want that to be ruined by me just walking in a stage and ferryman spawning just for the sake of the challenge.

V1 was almost definitely a part of why humanity went extinct and it’s most likely that it’s just going into hell to keep looking for things to kill so it can keep getting blood to survive. It’s also theorised that V1 could be possessed by God who's using the robot to essentially wipe everything out so he can start over.

we are definitely NOT playing as the good side. If anything we are the evil and gabe is the good side. Minos Prime makes it very clear machines had something to do with the downfall of man, maybe not directly but they obviously had something to do with the cataclysm.

Cause just like gabe says we are just a machine in search for blood. no rhyme or reason to V1s actions. They literally are just going anywhere to find fuel after mankind fell, destroying hell aswell as we go farther and farther down.

@@grayfox9869 ig but ngl v1 has literally just been killing shit. its obvious in the lore that keeping hell in check is something the 'god' wanted, and v1 literally killed the ferryman and eradicated minos. maybe the real god has other plans or sum but idk. i get the vibe from the game that we are just watching this shit happen as a more random/ neutral force.

They do use the album version, but in this video he was playing the update shortly after it had released. There's a decent chance you've heard the story of how Hakita essentially cranked out Death of God's Will in a matter of hours because he hadn't realized there was no Gabe 2 theme until the day before the update was set to go live. While people love sharing that story to show how much of a madman Hakita is (which he definitely is), he didn't manage to record all of the instruments in time, leading to the initial version of Death of God's Will containing some MIDI and lacking the guitars. After Hakita had the time to focus on finishing the song, that's when the song became the album version we have now, which replaced the old version in-game shortly after.

I think it’s because when you fought Gabriel for the first time, you were much less skilled (probably at the expected skill level of the level) so when you fought his second encounter, you were probably already higher skilled than what the player is supposed to be at this point. that could led to you remembering that the first encounter is easier even though it’s definitely not. although, it’s feel like Gabriel 2 have less health than what it’s supposed to be… idk lol

Yeah Gabriel 2 has less health and less attacks overall. Pretty much just goes between three attacks with the main gimmick of phase 2 being that he teleports behind you now.
