It's a horrible title... she got the Golden Buzzer because she was a superstar & exceptionally talented; not because she was blind or having a sop story! Just try to find another 17 yo that can sing like her while playing the piano, write her own songs, all that on a foreign language, and brave enough to do it on AGT with it on top of that. She is an inspiration for all humankind let alone those born with disabilities...

The title helped me find her. I saw a clip of her without her name, and no other way to find her. By typing in the word blind singer, it narrowed it down to the point where she could be found. She got the golden buzzer because of her talent not because she’s blind, but there’s no reason for you to be upset that people recognize that she is blind, or that they put blind in the title. Get over yourself.

Her musicality is unbelievable! It felt like she would be able to express anything in and out of this world using her voice and keys. I am a musician, and I have never heard anyone being able to do what she does. I do not like "sorry" that much - too sentimental - but I loved this!

It's rigged for TV in my opinion - I mean come on, between her first and second performance it's day and night, amazing coincidence she is asked to sing a second song, and immediately has one and gives a stellar performance, I have seen this pattern all the time on these shows, they get second chances and nail it, there's lots about this show that people do not know - these contestants get pre-selected and audition before producers first, people good AND bad are chosen, for TV and ratings, so yeah it's stunning how her first performance was not all that good BUT her second one was amazing - I do not think those are coincidences. Some people on these shows clearly win the sympathy votes and don't have much talent. But Putri, now THAT is talent, and I'm sure during the initial auditions with producers she was probably told to go with her first song choice first and to choose a second song.

The Indonesian government awarded her a four year music scholarship to the school of her choice after her golden buzzer performance on AGT. She has been visiting the Julliard School of Music in New York recently. I hope she gets in, but a school closer to her home & family would be a better idea.

Saying someone is blind is not an insult. It’s just a fact. As a blind person, I own it and I have no idea why people think having a disability is something we should be ashamed of. People are always asking me if there’s a “more polite” way of saying blind as if it’s an insult or something. We aren’t failures because we are blind. We are champions.

Putri is a singer; and artist, a sensational talent, who happens to be blind. Please don't call her a BLIND singer! When you put her blindness first, it makes it seem as if she is great because she is blind and not that she is great. She is great despite being blind not because of it. SHE IS GREAT! I pray she has much success. She deserves it! 🤩
