actually, the nutrition facts for the walmart brand are for 1 wafer, the serving size on the nutty buddy is 2. by the looks of it they are around the same

@volstar8 They have the same amount of everything, it’s just that Walmart shows half the serving size as the Little Debbie. Like anyone is only eating one of the two bars in the package 😂🤣

I typically prefer the Great Value snack cakes. I have had to come away from sugary snacks, but I really like the GV Swiss Rolls, Honey Buns, and Cupcakes.

If you look at the ingredients, the GV brand has more pnut butter, so it makes sense that Kevin said it tasted more peanut buttery 😊

I have tried both of these and actually have purchased GV brand in the past to save money. TAMI...y'all need to try Little Debbie Strawberry Swiss Rolls! I am not sure if they are seasonal but they ARE delicious!!! ❤

Even doing a blind taste test you can tell the difference between the texture and in the fills of the peanut butter wafer bars because Little Debbie's has those little square wafer textures and the other bar is just a smooth surface of chocolate with no square ridges on top

When you put in in your mouth quickly, and blindfolded without trying to feel the difference- trust me- it’s a blind taste test 😄

@@TamiDunn usually when I eat those snacks I don't just chew them up right away I like to take my time and suck on the chocolate that's on the the wafer that's how I can tell the difference in the texture

Good review. I've had them both and still prefer Little Debbie, with the swiss cake rolls Little Debbie is definitely better, I did not care for great value swiss cake rolls..you should also do a taste test of those and see what you think of them.

Nice comparison review. I have seen off brand of these at Lidl for even as low as 1.50; wonder if they are as good as GV.

I've eaten my weight and beyond in these over the years. Nothing comes close to the Little Debbie. I'd take a blind taste test with 20 competitors and guarantee 100% accuracy. I've had some decent knockoffs though.

Call me crazy but I can't recall if I've ever had little debbies nutty bars before. I dont eat alot of snack cakes now a days but I only remember eating the oatmeal creme pies, honeybuns, Swiss rolls and sometimes the cupcakes. Im trying to think but I honestly don't know lol

@@TamiDunn My mom would buy me snack cakes when I was little, but my taste buds changed as I aged and I no longer enjoy them. I do however like the Great Value cereals (that apple fritter one was amazing!) and their kcups are good too.

We love these and have been buying them over the name brand. They are sturdier somehow and don't get crushed as easily as the nutty buddy in lunch boxes for some reason.
