This is the episode where I finally respected Mickey. The girls he loves pretty much tells him he means nothing to her anymore, and you can see he understands exactly what she’s saying before he says he’s going to help her. Up until that point, he kept trying to get her to stay there, now he’s willing to do whatever it takes, including help her leave, so she can be happy.

I've always loved the little fact that Barty Crouch Jr. ( The character David Tennant plays in HP) comes out for the last time in the chapter titled "The Parting Of The Ways" and the first Doctor Who episode Tennant comes out in has the same title.

I think the James Bond metaphor is the best way to think about it. Each James Bond actor has had a somewhat different personality, but they're all "suave action badass." The Doctors are all different, but they share aspects like enthusiasm, earnestness, willingness to put himself in harm's way to help other species/beings survive.

The Time Vortex is not the conscious part of the Tardis; it's what the Tardis travels through when it's travelling through time, and access to the Time Vortex can be found within the Tardis herself. It's the machine itself that has a life of its own, able to manipulate the Time Vortex to do what she wants. So when Blon transforms into an egg, the Tardis used the Time Vortex to do what she wanted. When Rose takes in the Time Vortex, she took in its power and established a psychic connection with it the same way the Tardis can. So it was Rose, with the power of time, who was Bad Wolf. I always believed Chris was a very under rated doctor! He brought the series back and branched the huge gap inbetween, he drew fans back in to then fall in love with his successor.

Btw guys, there's a small scene inbetween this episode and the next that was shown on the UK charity show Children in Need which shows David Tennant and Rose in the TARDIS, just if you want to do a mini episode before the Christmas Invasion. The clips for all minisodes like these are on KZfaq and are pretty short, but are really good and enhance the experience
