It is near impossible for a band to keep the same sound for 25 years. But they have aged well. The sound isn't surprising to me with the direction it went especially since they got back together after so many years. Yet I am surprised that tom will not be on the new album. Whatever situation is the cause of it, it's still hard to grasp

I remember when this came out in 2011 - we'd all heard Blink were coming back, but we weren't optimistic. The fact that this song was good was a delightful surprise.

This album came out when I truly became a blink fan. I'm 18 now and didn't get into music until I was 14 this was my first blink album and it has a special place in my music world. Even though their earlier album are better.

Been a blink 182 for life and only recently found this gem. Now it's another song on repeat.

Blink 182 has always been my favorite band. Growing up in Argentina in the 90s I always dreamed of seeing them play live. Unfortunately they never came to my country and I lost track of the band's state when they broke up the first time so I wasn't really aware of these albums that came out after 2005. I finally saw them live 25 years after I first heard one of their songs from enema of the state last week in Sydney, Australia. A dream come true indeed. I heard this song live and I was like.. what is this gem? Had to come to listen to the album. Probably in their top 5 best songs for sure. These guys are at the top of their game, go see them live. They are still blink 182, but more mature and they sound really professional and clean.

I love how this song has a perfect combination of elements from Mark, Tom and Travis's other efforts with Box Car Racer, +44 and Angels & Airwaves.

Hearing this way back when they reformed was like a dream come true and I finally got to see them live in July 2012 😍😘💜

This album has gotten a lot more love in recent years actually. The reason why this album is amazing, is Tom. Self titled sounded the way it did because Tom did boxcar racer, which was darker. Now with neighborhoods, it has a mix of blink 182, +44 which was mark and Travis band in between blink 05-09. And box car. Those influences made one amazing album. And this album ranked #2 on the album charts at the time I think, which for an experimental album is great. But hey California which wasn’t progressive and instead sounded more generic than nickel-back got #1 which is obvious, and then new blink got with lil Wayne, and then we have new blinks album “nine” which mark says is like self titled. At least Tom is being progressive. And Tom didn’t leave, he got kicked out over a miscommunication over a show being played... I’m still sour about that a bit lol. Anyways, this album is really really good. Check out dogs eating dogs while you’re at it, it’s their last thing with Tom.

Damn this is such a heavy sounding song doesn’t sound like a punk rock song at all and Tom’s deep vocals are almost in sync with Mark’s already deep vocals this song isn’t nearly as bad as I thought it was

Well California sucked, and made me rediscover this album. Always thought it was great but California really makes you appreciate it some more. Actually feels like a Blink record.
