Israel U.S. a democracy . You can criticize or declare that democracy to be imperfect but it's still a democracy. That matters because regardless of what you think if bibi his power derives from the Israeli people who overwhelmingly want peace. If you watch back videos dating back years from "the ask project" you will see how much that is true with very little deviation past their frustration or faith in the other side changing:meaning some will say I want peace and they express hope for that to occur where others will sad I want peace and express exhaustion and sadness about the fact that it hasn't occurred while still others will say I want peace before expressing frustration anger or even doubt that the other side will ever come around. Once you recognize that Israel is a democracy and that the desire of the people is for peace, you understand that Israel only ever responds to the events they see on the ground. When Israel though the Palestinians wanted peace they voted out Bibi and gave a mandate to Ehud Barack to negotiate an end to the conflict. Let's recall what happened after Israel took that step forward....Arafat played around for a good year or so if I'm not mistaken and after winning concession after concession and was given nearly everything that he came in to the negotiation demanding, pretty much out of nowhere he demands the one thing israel took off the table at the very start of the negotiations, that they weren't going to let millions of Palestinians flood in to Israel. When Arafat showed that he never had an interest in peace and worse, he left the negotiation table and immediately reverted back to violence as a means by which to achieve his goals, he sent a message to the Israel people about the pursuit of peace being futile. Not long after Oslo collapsed the people voted out the deal maker and re-elected the protector. While this is just one example, the fact of the matter is that the Palestinians have always driven this conflict forward. If you look back through the last century of violence-long before there was a. Hamas or a Netanyahu-there has still this pattern of Israel tolerates a certain amount of violence until it reaches the point that it has to act.

What happened to the Jewish people of Europe was absolutely horrific, however those people had not lived in the Middle East for a couple thousand years. There is no justification for what Israel has and is doing to the people they pretend never existed (a land without a people).
