Fun Fact: The person who wrote the dialogue for this game also was one of the writers for the short-lived ESPN fictional football drama "Playmakers" (aka the series that was so controversial that the NFL forced ESPN to cancel the show or they would 86 their TV rights contact with them).

The AI rubber bands like crazy in this game. Its honestly the biggest flaw this game has, you pretty much never EVER wanna be up by more than 2 scores unless there is literally no time left because even the worst teams will become gods amongst men and lead comebacks that will make 28-3 look like a fucking joke.

Yeah it get nuts at the end of D2. The AI just rubber bands like crazy. Once you score a certain amount of points, the AI starts mounting comebacks that make 28-3 look like a joke.

i actually remember this game from when i was younger. my dad and cousin rented it for a week or two and seemed to really enjoy it. the part i remember the most was when a player would get injured and it would show the bone breaking like mortal kombat does
