Howitzer is heavily inspired by 88mm anti air Flak Cannon back in WW2, it was primarily designed to take out heavy plane bombers then decided to mount it on a tank thus born the Tiger tank and other variants

Run out a 1 hex arm away from the base and then build it out to put guns on to start attacking wasps before they get on top of your base. You can even delete the hexes that you run out after the guns are built.
