Kumamon (くまモン) is a mascot created by the government of Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. It was created in 2010 for a campaign called to draw tourists to the region after the Kyushu Shinkansen line opened.

He’s a mascot of Kim’s prefecture iirc. Kumamon stands for Kuma monster.

Is it bad I think that this mascot was made just so the guy inside was to be a little shit and get away with it? I know the main reason why Kumamon was made, it just feels like the guy can get away with a lot of stuff while in a plush suit.

@Shadow Dragon well, let's take up the automatic mochi maker. Bear lost his glove in the mix. Usually you get yelled at very sternly about that kind of shit, but they kinda eased up on it and accepted that accidents happen, even though he was dumb thinking it was like traditional mochi pounding.

쿠마몬 진짜 귀엽습니다. 제 집에도 인형 1개 있습니다. 얼굴은 하나인데 감정표현은 다양한 그런매력있네요. 그리고 실수하거나 장난치는데 쿠마몬이라서 웃고넘어가게되는 그런매력도있네요 3:21 쿠마몬 옆에있는 케릭터의 이름이 궁금합니다.
