This is a HUGE win. Removing button bloat. Removing Glimmer gameplay allows you to freely HS who you need to without worrying over not optimizing Glimmer. Also, it makes mana management less of a headache. One question: have you tried running with the consecration talents in the class tree? I thought with how much this build is throwing judgments, plus the holy tree talent that gives judgment a 30% chance to drop a consecration, PLUS the buffed consecration from Lightsmith... Big win with these changes. Glimmer gone is great for the spec, it was a tedious mechanic that spread the healing budget for the class too thin. Daybreak was the very definition of button bloat, glad that is gone too. More power into holy shock and word of glory is what the spec needs.

Pretty cool! Now Martyr should be also playable since it massively buffs Holy Shock, right?

Pressing less buttons is always a win imo. I think holy paladin right after the rework in 10.2 was it's best interation. Your heals and CDs should be impacful, especially when you have so much spike damage everywhere.

I'm SOOOO happy with these changes. I was wanting to have Holy as my main healer for TWW, but it wasn't looking good before now.

I liked glimmer but it felt underwhelming tbh, like you said, doing a whole ramp just to group heal felt horrible

I might give it another try. I love the idea of Holy Pally, I just felt the playstyle was clunky and frustrating.

The capstone is Sacred Weapon whereas the things you give others are called Holy Armament, so that buff is only the capstone

Did you speak to the comparison of the melee vs ranged? Or is there no option?

Now if we can just get shield of the righteous to work with 2 handed weapons like it does with the legion weapon, so we can take advantage of sick 2h weapon mogs, Paladin will be perfect!

I don't like "save by the light" + "glistening radiance," and i'm not sure about "Unwavering spirit" + "Power of the silver hand", so my question is, did you test "Light of the Martyr" + "Bestow light" ? With all the buff already on HS, this additionnal buffs could be nice no ? Any thoughts on this ?

Is melee Hpal looking to be viable? I'm thinking about running it for pvp but I'm curious what you think. Imo, if it's good enough for m+ it should be fine for 8v8 rbgs 😊

One question: what with AoE in raid? Now we only depend on Herald od the sun? On retail healers pumping stupid AoE numbers what with US if we need to hold more then 5 ppl. p.s. glimmer was added on BfA because of lack of AoE

You think Divine Toll is still an auto pick at all times? I feel like glimmer spreading was a huge factor before.

The only thing doing damage for holy pala is sacred weapon, judgement and hammer of wrath hits like dogturd so without some nunbers tuning the spec still wont be played in mythic+ sadly. Saved by the Light and its accompanied talent is extremely undertuned aswell and the shields do absolutely nothing. And my favorite talents golden path and judgement of light is also extremely undertuned. Because of numbers theres so many dead talents

I HATED HATED HATED glimmer playstyle since they came out with in in... bfa? So this is such a welcome change in my eyes. Thank God we don't have to juggle glimmers anymore. That was such a stupid play style.

Nah I disagree, its worse. Glimmers were shite and won't be missed. But Daybreak will be missed. I loved that spell. If they really wanted to get rid of bloat they should get rid of Blessing of Summer, Tyr's Deliverance and Divine Toll. Replace them all with Daybreak and have Infusion of Light make Flash of Light free cast. That way you could line up Flash (which nobody uses outside of Arena) with Moment of Compassion and Beacon of Virtue. "Beacon Flash" would replace DT. Daybreak and Mele Wings then become your get out of jail free cards, both on 1-minute CDs. Then you can actually look up and enjoy the game instead of focusing on you bars the whole time. It also allows you to throw out those new weapon things and maximise your dps like on your other video.
