I remember an old X-Men comic when Juggernaut gave the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak to his buddy Black Tom Cassidy. The Gem is what originally gave the power of Juggernaut to Marko Caine but Marko wanted to give Tom a birthday gift, so the Gem was it. As soon as Tom touched it, half of the Juggernaut power transferred from Marko to Tom. Tom didn't know what the Gem was at the time so the transformation took him by surprise & he panicked. It turned into a fight & it spilled out into open public areas. Of course, the X-Men eventually showed up...Even though the the X-Men were facing only "medium level" Juggernauts, being two to them gave Marko & Tom the advantage of using teamwork, which is something that the full-strength (but single) Juggernaut couldn't have. As such, the X-Men got thoroughly trounced. Later, the power transfer reversed & Marko got *all* of the power back. Tom confessed that he never really got the idea of why Marko was always so headstrong & used his fists on every problem he ran into. But Tom also pointed out that having even half the power was a cathartic thrill for him to be able to cut loose like that & he came to understand Juggernaut better. Their friendship was strengthened by it. That story was so heart-warming...

Blob is also one of the few who has been seriously punched by the Hulk & lived to tell of it later. Juggernaut (personal force field) & Wolverine (adamantium-laced bones & insane healing factor) are a couple of others.

The Hulk holds back and doesn't seriously punch people because when he does he can do feats such as sending them to f****** space or through mountains. That is the kind of punch they're talking about, and the average person who fights them would literally be red paste if he did that to them. The outcome of a contest between Jugganaut and the Blob are all dependent on the Blobs immovability. The Jugganaut in order to be an irresistable force has to have unlimited force. In other words, infinite force. If the blobs immovability is limited, not infinite then the winner is obvious. if the Blobs immovability is infinite in power, then the classic irresistable force meets the immovable object and anything is possible.

@@keemjohnson8863 Blob may be immovable relative to the ground where he's standing, but sufficient force (like a good punch from the Hulk) will rip up a chunk of ground under Blob's feet & go flying with him...Something similar to what happens if someone is strong enough to pull Spider-Man off of a wall, part of the wall goes with him. For Blob to be *truly* immovable then whatever he stands on must also be immovable.

In an X-Men novel back in the late 90's early 2000 the Blob and Juggernaut faced off against each other. Juggernaut charged the Blob, who was bonded to the ground. At the last second the Blob flinched, and Juggernaut ended up clipping him in the charge which sent him sliding along the ground around 10 to 20 feet from his original position. It was never resolved who would win.

Juggernaut would 110% move him regardless of what Blob standing upon unless the blob is standing upon something both immovable and indestructible. At that point, it's just a matter of "immovable object vs unstoppable force" as blobs immovablility is dependent upon the ground he is standing upon

Blob has been the super chill bartender at the Green Lagoon for a couple years now. He left his villainous ways in the past when Krakoa allowed all mutants to join if they were chill. Now, it seems humans are going to wreck it all cause they are a selfish destruction virus.

What does not being a mutant have to do with anything? Even if he isn’t, Cain Marko is still one of the strongest characters in Marvel. Even the Hulk in one of he’s stronger forms (world Breaker Hulk) couldn’t stop the Juggernaut, instead he had to redirect him because the Hulk knows Cain can’t abruptly stop and turn around once he starts moving.

He a great example as his most defining power is literally infinite momentum. Once he is in motion, he will stay in motion, no matter who or what is in front of him. Pushing, crushing, or straight up going through everything in his path. A demon actually blasted him so hard that only his skeleton was left, and juggernaut still kept charging forward. He then healed completely afterwards. So yeah, infinite momentum vs an immovable object would be really interesting to see. My money is still on juggs, as hes like 4 tiers above the blob. Either the blob is getting moved, the ground underneath him is, or the blob is turned into watermelon chunks. Juggs is just too damn powerful

I've always assumed that the Blob being an immovable object and the Juggernaut being an unstoppable force that they would just cancel each other out if they were to collide. By that, I mean Juggernaut will be stopped and Blob will be moved.

Physics of Juggernaut and Blob having been explained, there's nothing but stalemate that would result in an intelligent-Blob vs an irate-Juggernaut; on contact Juggernaut would be held by Blob; a hemisphere of ground would be sheared-off out from under them, and blob would just become immovably-planted on the Juggernaut, regardless of juggernauts ability to carry on, Blob could remain a fixed-feature attached to Juggernauts exterior.

Kingpin took steroids that turned his fat to muscle. And he has no super powers but can go toe to toe with spider man. I kind of see blob like that naturally but a lot stronger and with fat instead of muscle

Kingpin is allowed to exist because Spider-Man accepts it. Yes the writers and the blah blah blah, whatever. But realistically, no matter how sturdy the human, a single, full punch, from even just base level Spider-Man, is not survivable. Spidey spends his time holding back, and often fighting individual that have human weaknesses in anatomy. He nearly never fights at full capacity, and so he's not particularly great at going all out, and he clings to not being willing to kill anyone, ever (for the most part) and takes a beating, unnecessarily, as a result.

Blob has one pretty glaring weakness. He needs air to live so he is more invulnerable than invincible. For instance hero like sue storm could easily kill him by simply placing him in a bubble cutting him off from oxygen.

@@BeyondAIR15 sure I just wanted to differentiate between practically invulnerable and invisible. There are not many truly invincible characters but there are a lot of invulnerable. Think Deadpool is practically invincible. Hulk pretty much cannot be killed. Juggernaut as long as he has the stone. And characters with extremes reality warping abilities.

In the Thanos vs. Hulk storyline, the pair exchange blows, but even without the stones at his disposal, Thanos manages to overpower his opponent. Time and time again, Thanos has shown that he doesn't need the Infinity Stones to take down the Hulk, so when he does have them, he's practically unstoppable. Even when Hulk is at his full powers, Thanos can deal with him. In the 'Thanos Wins' arc, the Mad Titan even makes the Hulk his killer pet at the end of the universe. Hulk literally needs help to even contain Thanos not even defeat him

If the blob is truly immovable and juggernaut charges him full force they'll make a black hole at the point of impact. If Blob has a limit to his immovability then juggernaut wins in raw power and blob would have to try and outsmart him which is something I'm not sure he can do.

I'd like to amend this, if the Blob cannot feel pain then he doesn't know how much damage he's taken, couple that with a less good healing factor and you might kill the Blob just from internal bleeding if you keep him running long enough.

@@futtynucker I'm pretty sure that the majority of the 'anatomy' thumbnails are AI generated because they do all the nutty things that AI does when you ask it to draw something, like extra bones, muscles and organs in weird places, etc. If I'm wrong, the artist who's making them is either a certified mutation anatomy genius or an aesthetic wacko.

Never met a person named Guido until my late teens(?) so I always read it in my head as Guy Doo... even at the time I thought it was weird but I was raised in Japan/Okinawa and one of my straight Japanese neighbors was named Hachi (8... her name was 8) and her brother's name was fuckin Kevin.

Personally, while Juggernaut would win the fight it wouldn't be that one-sided since Blob does have a lot of damage mitigation and he does have some decent strength, so he can take a pretty good beating from Juggernaut before going down, so I imagine he could probably throw out almost as good as he gets during the fight, but Juggernaut would win due to have damage resistance of his own, super strength, and infinite stamina.

The Blob is good at absorbing impacts while on the ground. His body can increase in density and creates a mono gravitational field that holds him down. He is vulnerable in the eyes, nose, ears, and possibly mouth. The Hulk (Grey) could not make an impact. He then was easily able to beat him because he grabbed his skin and started to pull till it cause him enough pain that he released the gravity field and flew towards the Hulk who started to pummel him by keeping him off the ground.

I feel like if the Juggernaut and the Blob got into a fight, Juggernaut would hit him so hard it sends him and the ground he's attached to flying. If it was serious, Blob would be utterly obliterated by the avatar of destruction.

You're forgetting about inertia physics and the fact that the blobs fat is basically a Newtonian fluid what happens when something going very fast hits a Newtonian fluid the fluid becomes solid the objects stops in its path I'm not saying the plug would survive it but I'm not saying that the Juggernaut would survive that impact either said basically they kill themselves and I'm very splaturry fashion
